Texas Leadership Charter Academy
Texas Leadership Charter Academy (TLCA) has Charter school locations in San Angelo, Midland, Arlington, and Abilene. TLCA was approved to become a charter school in November 2008, and was established in August 2009. The TLCA mascot is the Eagle. The school colors are Carolina blue, black, and white. Grades TLCA San Angelo has grades K–12. University Interscholastic League
The University Interscholastic League (UIL) is an organization that creates rules for and administers almost all athletic, musical, and academic contests for public primary and secondary schools in the U.S. state of Texas. It is the largest organization of its type in the world. Activities range from American football and cross-examination debate to mathematics and marching band competitions; however, the UIL does not administer Academic Decathlon competitions. Junell Center
The Junell Center is a 6,500 seat multi-purpose arena in San Angelo, Texas. It was built in 2001. It is the home of the Angelo State University Rams & Ram Belles' basketball teams and the Ram Belles' volleyball team. It features a 9x12 foot video screen and an Honors Lounge housed in the Junell Center, overlooking the Stephens Arena floor. A Hall of Fame concourse heralds the accomplishments of ASU athletes through the ages.
