Texas Amateur Athletic Federation
The Texas Amateur Athletic Federation (sometimes referred to as TAAF) is a nonprofit amateur sports organization based in Georgetown, Texas that conducts competitions across the U.S. state of Texas. It is made up of over 140 organizations and 210,000 individuals. The organization's premier events are the Games of Texas, which consist of the Summer and Winter Games held each year during their respective seasons. Regions The state is divided into 17 regions, each with its own regional director, member cities, and affiliates. Games of Texas TAAF conducts the Summer Games of Texas in late July and the Winter Games in January of each year. Multi-sport Event
A multi-sport event is an organized sporting event, often held over multiple days, featuring competition in many different sports among organized teams of athletes from (mostly) nation-states. Frisco is a city in Collin and Denton counties in the U.S. state of Texas. Punt, Pass, And Kick
Punt, pass and kick (PP&K) was a skills competition offered by the US National Football League for children aged 6 to 15. Overview PP&K began in 1961 and at one time, event highlights were shown by CBS Sports as part of its NFL coverage. The contest received renewed attention in 1995 when Kendra Wecker, a 12-year-old girl from Kansas, made the finals in her age group and competed on an equal basis with male competitors. PP&K later had separate competitions for boys and girls in five different age groups. Winners in each age group are determined by the total distance of their punts, passes, and kicks, as the name implies. The national finals competition involves one contestant from each age group sponsored by each of the NFL's 32 teams. Track and field is a sport that includes athletic contests based on running, jumping, and throwing skills.
