Nature
Nature, in the broadest sense, is the physics, physical world or universe. "Nature" can refer to the phenomenon, phenomena of the physical world, and also to life in general. The study of nature is a large, if not the only, part of science. Although humans are part of nature, human activity is often understood as a separate category from other natural phenomena. Teva Naot ( he, טבע נאות) is an Israeli shoe and sandal manufacturer based at Kibbutz Neot Mordechai. History Naot, which opened in 1942, started out as a small kibbutz factory producing work boots. Currently, it employs 160 workers and designs a new line of footwear every year to keep up with global fashion trends. Naot's products include a variety of shoes and sandals for men, women and children with special insoles that conform to the shape of the wearer's foot. Footbeds can be replaced by a user's custom orthotic insoles, or by standard replacements for worn ones. In 1988, shoe manufacturing in Israel suffered from the glut of inexpensive imports from the Far East. Naot Mordechai considered shutting down its shoe factory. The Teva Learning Alliance (formerly Teva Learning Center) is a Jewish-based environmental education 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that teaches about Judaism and the environment at Jewish day schools, summer camps and Hebrew schools. The Textile and Clothing Workers' Union ( fi, Tekstiili- ja vaatetustyöväen liitto, Teva) was a trade union representing workers involved in making textiles and garments, in Finland. The union was founded in 1971, when the Textile Workers' Union merged with the Textile and Knitting Workers' Union and the Union of Clothing Workers. These unions had been members of separate federations, but they had all joined the Central Organisation of Finnish Trade Unions in 1969, prompting the merger. The union's membership initially increased, peaking at 48,254 in 1980. Employment in the industry then declined rapidly, and despite the small Finnish Textile Mechanics' Union merged into Teva in 1989, by 1998, it had only 18,829 members. Teva Harrison
Teva Harrison (August 20, 1976 – April 28, 2019) was a Canadian-American writer and graphic artist. She was diagnosed with metastatic breast cancer at age 37, and began to document her experiences with the terminal illness using illustrations and essays. Her works were compiled into a graphic memoir called ''In-Between Days''. The book was a finalist for the 2016 Governor General's Award for English-language non-fiction, and put Harrison on the list of 16 Torontonians to Watch. Harrison won the 2016 Kobo Emerging Writer Prize, and was a finalist for the 2017 Joe Shuster Award for Cartoonist/Auteur.
