Terry Moore (born May 25, 1952) is an American politician serving as a member of the Montana House of Representatives from the 54th district. Elected in November 2018, he assumed office on January 7, 2019. Early life and education Born and raised in Billings, Montana, Moore earned a Bachelor of Science degree in business with a concentration in accounting from Montana State University. Career Moore worked as the chief financial officer of First Interstate Bank. He was also a manager at KPMG. Billings, Montana
Billings is the largest city in the U.S. state of Montana, with a population of 117,116 as of the 2020 census. Located in the south-central portion of the state, it is the seat of Yellowstone County and the principal city of the Billings Metropolitan Area, which had a population of 184,167 in the 2020 census. Jeff Essmann
Jeff Essmann (born June 29, 1952) is an American politician and a Republican former member of the Montana Senate. Essmann was appointed to the Montana Senate in 2005 to represent Senate District 28. He was subsequently elected in 2006, and reelected in 2010. Essmann served as the president of the Montana Senate from 2013 to 2015. He is most notable for proposing Senate Bill 423 to legalize use of medical marijuana in Montana. Essmann ran for Governor of Montana in 2012 election. He withdrew after it was determined that he lacked the necessary funds and support.
