Terry Moore (born Helen Luella Koford; January 7, 1929) is an American film and television actress who began her career as a child actor. She was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress for her performance in '' Come Back, Little Sheba'' (1952). She is one of the last surviving stars from the Golden Age of Hollywood. Biography Child actress Moore was born January 7, 1929 in Glendale, California, and grew up in a Mormon family in Los Angeles. Terry Moore (born 6 August 1951) is a former Australian rules footballer who played with North Melbourne and Hawthorn in the Victorian Football League (VFL). Moore, originally from Nuriootpa, started his career in 1968 at South Australian National Football League (SANFL) club Central District and represented South Australia at the 1972 Perth Carnival. After standing out of the game in 1975 while he awaited a clearance, Moore joined North Melbourne in 1976 and was centre half forward in their Grand Final Primarily in Australian sports, a grand final (sometimes colloquially abbreviated to "grannie") is a game that decides a sports league's premiership (or championship) winning team, i.e. the conclusive game of a finals (or play-off) series. Terry Bluford Moore (May 27, 1912 – March 29, 1995) was an American professional baseball center fielder, manager, and coach. He played for the St. Louis Cardinals (–, –), and later coached for them (–, –). Moore managed the Philadelphia Phillies, taking the reins from Steve O’Neill, for the second half of the season. Playing career A right-handed batter and thrower, Moore began his professional baseball career in 1932. In 1934, he hit .328 in the American Association and earned a roster spot with the Cardinals the following season. Moore joined the Cardinals the year after the Gashouse Gang won the 1934 World Series. He hit for a career .280 batting average in 1,298 games, with 80 home runs. Terence "Terry" Moore (born June 2, 1958 in Moncton, New Brunswick) is a former Canadian national soccer team, NASL, and Irish League player. A steady central defender, Moore lived the first five years of his life in Moncton until his family moved to Northern Ireland. He grew up there and played in the Irish League for Larne and the famous Belfast club Glentoran. Moore made his international debut for Canada against Scotland in 1983, and played in all four games when the Olympic team reached the quarterfinals in 1984. He was a member of the 1986 FIFA World Cup squad in Mexico in 1986, but did not play in the finals. Moore played 118 regular season games in the NASL and 16 in the playoffs from 1980 to 1984 for three teams. He was a member of the Tulsa Roughnecks team that won the 1983 Soccer Bowl in Vancouver over Toronto Blizzard. With the NASL defunct, Moore returned to Northern Ireland to play and live.
