Terry Matalas (born December 11, 1975) is an American television writer, Television director, director, and Television producer, executive producer, best known for co-creating and showrunning ''12 Monkeys (TV series), 12 Monkeys'' (20152018), which ran for four seasons on SyFy. He was a showrunner on the MacGyver (2016 TV series, season 4), fourth season of ''MacGyver (2016 TV series), MacGyver'' for CBS (2020) and the Star Trek: Picard (season 2), second and Star Trek: Picard (season 3), third seasons of ''Star Trek: Picard'' on Paramount+ (20222023). Early life and education Matalas grew up near Raritan, New Jersey. As a teenager, Matalas' favorite movie was ''Back to the Future'', and ''Star Trek: The Next Generation'' was one of his favorite shows. Christopher Allen Lloyd (born October 22, 1938) is an American actor. He has appeared in many theater productions, films, and on television since the 1960s.
