Terry Lin
Terry Lin (; born 6 July 1966) is a Taiwanese singer. He has been nominated for the Golden Melody Awards 5 times for Best Mandarin Male Artist. He is known for his clear and elegant androgynous voice, which utilizes different resonance in his head to 'mix' head voice and falsetto to effortlessly move to the high ranges and maintain power and volume despite his slight build. He has a combined range of 3 octaves but has spanned an additional octave while performing "Opera", a rearranged instrumental by Vitas, a song he stated he cannot practice (including perform) more than 4 times a day. He later became the first Taiwanese artist to record his album in One Take and One Take Live with no further editing. Life and career Lin was born in Keelung, Taiwan, and is the oldest of 3 children. Simon & Garfunkel were an American folk rock duo consisting of the singer-songwriter Paul Simon and the singer Art Garfunkel. ''Singer'' 2017 was the fifth season of Chinese television series of the rebranded version of ''I Am a Singer''. Due to the banning of Korean-related brands and artists in China, the series went with a rebranding under a simplified title of ''Singer'', but otherwise retained similar competition format from the past four seasons of ''I Am a Singer''. This is the only season in which no singers doubled their roles as the hosts, and He Jiong, who hosted the finale after a year's absence, served as the host. The fifth season premiered on January 21, 2017, on Hunan Television, and ended on April 22, 2017. Jam Hsiao
Jam Hsiao Ching-Teng (, born 30 March 1987) is a Taiwanese singer and actor. At the age of 17, while still in high school, he began working as a restaurant singer. In May 2007, Hsiao took part in the first season of China Television (CTV)'s star search show, ''One Million Star''. He signed a contract with Warner Music Taiwan in 2008 and released his debut album, ''Jam Hsiao (album), Jam Hsiao'', in the same year. In 2011, Hsiao played the lead role in the action film ''The Killer Who Never Kills'' and won the Hong Kong Film Award for Best New Performer for his performance.
