Terry Johnson (born 28 June 1941) is a former English cricketer. Johnson was a right-handed batsman. He was born in Grantham, Lincolnshire. Johnson made his debut for Lincolnshire in the 1963 Minor Counties Championship against the Yorkshire Second XI. Johnson played Minor counties cricket for Lincolnshire from 1963 to 1976, which included 72 Minor Counties Championship matches. He made his List A debut against Northumberland in the 1971 Gillette Cup. Terry Johnson (born 20 December 1955) is a British dramatist and director working for stage, television and film. Graduating from the Department of Drama and Theatre Arts at the University of Birmingham, he worked as an actor from 1971 to 1975, and has been active as a playwright since the early 1980s. Johnson's stage work has been produced around the world. He has won nine British Theatre awards including the Olivier Award for Best Comedy 1994 and 1999, Playwright of the Year 1995, Critics' Circle Theatre Awards for Best New Play 1995, two Evening Standard Theatre Awards, the Writers Guild Award for Best Play 1995 and 1996, the Meyer-Whitworth Award 1993 and the John Whiting Award 1991. Terry Johnson (entrepreneur)
Terry Johnson (March 14, 1935 – July 24, 2010) was an engineer and entrepreneur notable for his pioneering work on hard disk drives (HDD). Johnson's early career included engineering and management roles in magnetic recording at IBM (1964–70) and Memorex (1971–73). He then joined in the development of STC 8000 Super Disk, a high-end, rotary actuator HDD funded by StorageTek. In 1980, he left StorageTek to found a startup, Miniscribe, a manufacturer of 5.25 inch HDDs. In 1985, he started another new company, CoData, that subsequently merged with Conner Peripherals in 1986. CoData's 3.5-inch drive became Conner's first product. In 1985, Johnson co-founded PrairieTek, the first maker of 2.5 inch drives. Terry Johnson (born June 4, 1956) is an American politician serving as a member of the Ohio Senate from the 14th District. He is an osteopathic physician who was a member of the Ohio House of Representatives for the 90th district from 2011 to 2018. He was unopposed in the primary and faced Democrat construction worker Ron Hadsell in the general election. Johnson won with 58.38% of the vote. In 2012, he carried 64.07% of the vote as he was easily re-elected to a second term over Portsmouth City Council President John Haas. He earned a third term in 2014, again carrying 64% of the vote over Thom Davis. Terry "Buzzy" Johnson (born Isaiah Johnson, November 12, 1938), is an American popular music singer, songwriter and music producer. Early career Johnson was born in Baltimore, Maryland, and grew up as a neighbor of The Orioles' Sonny Til and The Swallows' Earl Hurley. In 1954, Johnson formed The Whispers (no relation to the more famous Los Angeles-based group) with four high school friends, and recorded for Gotham Records (based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania). He wrote, arranged and sang lead on "Fool Heart" and "Are You Sorry?", both released in 1955. Terry "Tank" Johnson (born December 7, 1981) is a former American professional football defensive tackle in the NFL for the Chicago Bears, Dallas Cowboys and Cincinnati Bengals.
