Terry Davis (rower)
Terry Davis (born 1958) is an Australian businessman and former state representative rower. From 2001 to 2014 he was chief executive of Coca-Cola Amatil in Australia. Club and state rowing career Raised in Hobart Tasmania, Davis attended Rosetta High School where he took up rowing. His senior rowing was initially from the Buckingham Rowing Club outside of Hobart before his relocation to Sydney. Davis made his state representative debut for Tasmania in the 1975 youth eight which contested the Noel Wilkinson Trophy at the 1975 Australian Interstate Regatta. The following year he was selected in the Tasmanian men's eight which competed for the King's Cup at the annual Interstate Regatta. In 1977 he again rowed in the Tasmanian King's Cup eight. At the 1977 Australian Rowing Championships Davis rowed in a coxed four which contested the national coxed four title and placed third. Coca-Cola Amatil Limited (CCA) was an Australian bottler of non-alcoholic beverages that existed from 1904 to 2021, when it merged with Coca-Cola European Partners to form Coca-Cola Europacific Partners. It was one of the largest bottlers of non-alcoholic ready-to-drink beverages in the Asia-Pacific region and one of the world's five major Coca-Cola bottlers. CCA operated in six countries—Australia, New Zealand, Indonesia, Papua New Guinea, Fiji and Samoa. The company also bottled beer and coffee. Foster's Group
Foster's Group Pty. Ltd. was an Australian beer group with interests in brewing and soft drinks, known for Foster's Lager, now called Carlton & United Breweries since the company was renamed in 2011. Foster's was founded in 1888 in Melbourne, Victoria by two American brothers, who sold the brewery a year later. The company was renamed prior to sale to British-South African multinational SABMiller in 2011. Foster's wine business was split into a separate company, Treasury Wine Estates, in May 2011. Sydney Rowing Club
Sydney Rowing Club is the oldest rowing club in New South Wales, Australia formed in 1870. It has occupied its current site on Port Jackson's Parramatta River at Abbotsford Point since 1874. The club has a focus on its high performance and elite rowing programs and as of the 2021 Olympic Games, sixty-eight rowers from the club had competed at the Olympic Games rowing in one hundred and two of the seats raced by Australian Olympic crews. Glebe Rowing Club is the third-oldest rowing club in continuous operation on Sydney Harbour and was established in July 1879 in Blackwattle Bay Sydney, Australia. It has occupied its current location at the foot of Ferry St, Glebe since the club's inception. GRC is a community based club with a focus on novice, women's and social rowing and with a learn-to-row program. Drummoyne Rowing Club, formed in 1919 in Sydney, Australia is one of four rowing clubs on Iron Cove in Sydney Harbour. It has occupied its current site at Sister's Bay, Drummoyne since its foundation. The DRC is a community based competitive and recreational rowing club with a long history in welcoming women members. It offers programs at club and master's level and leases its facilities for some schools' programs.
