Terry Wayne Adams (born March 6, 1973), is an American former professional baseball pitcher, who played in Major League Baseball (MLB) from to for the Chicago Cubs, Los Angeles Dodgers, Philadelphia Phillies, Toronto Blue Jays, and Boston Red Sox. Amateur career High school At Mary G. Montgomery High School, he went 12-2 with a 1.75 ERA his senior season and was the 1991 Alabama High School Player of the Year. Terry Adams (born August 9, 1983) is a professional flatland BMX bicyclist from Hammond, Louisiana. Riding career Adams started riding flatland BMX at the age of ten and turned pro at seventeen. He's been featured on the covers of several magazines throughout his career. In 2005 and 2008 he won ''Ride BMX'' magazine's NORA Cup award. Terry Adams (born August 14, 1948) is an American pianist/composer and a founding member of the musical group NRBQ (New Rhythm and Blues Quintet/Quartet), known for decades of extensive touring, energetic and humorous live shows, and wide-ranging musical repertoire, including rock, blues, country, pop, and jazz. NRBQ ceased performing in 2004, leading Adams to form the Terry Adams Rock and Roll Quartet in 2007. In March 2011, Adams announced that he was changing the name of the band to NRBQ. A new NRBQ CD, ''Keep This Love Goin'', heralded the move. Adams was born in Louisville, Kentucky, where he met fellow resident Steve Ferguson, a singer and guitarist who also became a charter member of NRBQ.
