Terrence Rencher
Terrence Lamont Rencher (born February 19, 1973) is an American former professional basketball player. He is an assistant coach for the Oklahoma State Cowboys. Playing career Rencher was a prep star at St. Raymond High School for Boys in the Bronx, New York, earning New York City MVP honors in his senior year. Rencher attended the University of Texas at Austin, being drawn to the high-paced tempo of play that coach Tom Penders employed. There he finished his career with 2,306 points (making him both the school's and Southwest Conference's all-time career scorer in men's basketball) and 440 assists. The Washington Bullets selected Rencher in the 1995 NBA draft, but his draft rights were traded along with Rex Chapman to the Miami Heat for the draft rights to Jeff Webster and Ed Stokes. The Provident Credit Union Event Center, formerly and more commonly known as the Event Center Arena, is a complex consisting of an indoor arena and a fitness club on the main campus of San Jose State University in downtown San Jose, California. Bnei HaSharon
Bnei Herzliya Basket (, lit. ''Sons of Herzliya''), is a professional basketball club that is based in Herzliya, in the Sharon district in Israel. The club plays in the Israeli Basketball Premier League, the top division of Israeli basketball. It has won the Israeli State Cup twice, most recently in 2022. This season the club will also play in the Basketball Champions League (BCL), one of Europe's largest international competitions. Rebound (basketball)
In basketball, a rebound, sometimes colloquially referred to as a board, is a statistic awarded to a player who retrieves the ball after a missed field goal or free throw. Rebounds in basketball are a routine part in the game; if a shot is successfully made possession of the ball will change, otherwise the rebound allows the defensive team to take possession. Rebounds are also given to a player who tips in a missed shot on his team's offensive end. A rebound can be grabbed by either an offensive player or a defensive player. Rebounds are divided into two main categories: "offensive rebounds", in which the ball is recovered by the offensive side and does not change possession, and "defensive rebounds", in which the defending team gains possession. Points in basketball are used to keep track of the score in a game. Points can be accumulated by making field goals (two or three points) or free throws (one point). Southwest Conference
The Southwest Conference (SWC) was an NCAA Division I college athletic conference in the United States that existed from 1914 to 1996. Composed primarily of schools from Texas, at various times the conference included schools from Oklahoma and Arkansas. For most of its history, the core members of the conference were Texas-based schools plus one in Arkansas: Baylor University, Rice University, Southern Methodist University, Texas A&M University, Texas Christian University, Texas Tech University, the University of Arkansas and the University of Texas at Austin. The Oklahoma State Cowboys basketball team represents Oklahoma State University in Stillwater, Oklahoma, United States in NCAA Division I men's basketball competition. Creighton Bluejays Men's Basketball
The Creighton Bluejays men's basketball team represents Creighton University of the NCAA Division I college basketball. They currently compete in the Big East Conference having joined the conference following the Big East conference realignment in 2013. The San Diego Toreros men's basketball team is a college basketball team that represents the University of San Diego in San Diego, California. The school's team currently competes in the West Coast Conference (WCC). The team played in the NCAA Division I men's basketball tournament in 2008. The New Mexico Lobos men's basketball team represents the University of New Mexico, competing in the Mountain West Conference (MWC) in NCAA Division I. The university established basketball as a varsity sport in 1899 and began competing with regional colleges after establishing an athletics department in 1920. Lobo basketball first achieved national prominence after Bob King was hired as head coach in 1962. King transformed a moribund program into a consistent winner and produced future ABA MVP Mel Daniels. The Tulsa Golden Hurricane men's basketball team represents the University of Tulsa in Tulsa, in the U.S. state of Oklahoma. The team participates in the American Athletic Conference. The Texas State Bobcats men's basketball team is the basketball team that represents Texas State University. The school's team currently competes in the Sun Belt Conference.
