Terrelle Vernon Smith (born March 12, 1978) is a former American football fullback (American football), fullback. He was drafted by the New Orleans Saints in the fourth round of the 2000 NFL Draft. He played college football at Arizona State Sun Devils football, Arizona State. Smith has also played for the Cleveland Browns, Arizona Cardinals and Detroit Lions. Smith's brother, Safety Da'Mon Cromartie-Smith, is a free agent. College career At Arizona State University, Arizona State, Smith served as a blocking back for J.R. Fullback (American Football)
A fullback (FB) is a position in the offensive backfield in gridiron football, and is one of the two running back positions along with the halfback. Fullbacks are typically larger than halfbacks and in most offensive schemes the fullback's duties are split among power running, pass catching, and blocking for both the quarterback and the other running back. Many great runners in the history of American football have been fullbacks, including Jim Brown, Marion Motley, Bronko Nagurski, Jim Taylor, Franco Harris, Larry Csonka, John Riggins, Christian Okoye, and Levi Jackson. Dulymus Jenod "Deuce" McAllister (born December 27, 1978) is an American former football running back who played eight seasons for the New Orleans Saints in the National Football League (NFL). He played college football for Ole Miss and was drafted by the Saints in the first round of the 2001 NFL Draft. McAllister was selected to two Pro Bowls in his career. McAllister is currently a color commentator for the Saints on radio flagship WWL (AM), having taken over from Hokie Gajan in June 2016, as well as for college football games on SEC Network. Reuben Droughns (; born August 21, 1978) is a retired American football running back. After playing college football at the University of Oregon, he was drafted by the Detroit Lions in the third round of the 2000 NFL Draft. During his nine years playing professional football, Droughns was also a member of the Miami Dolphins, Denver Broncos, Cleveland Browns, and New York Giants of the National Football League. Lee Ernest Suggs, Jr. (born August 11, 1980) is a former American football coach and former player. He played college football as a running back at Virginia Tech and professionally for the Cleveland Browns and Miami Dolphins in the National Football League (NFL). Suggs attended high school at William Fleming High School. During his 1998 senior year in high school, he rushed for 2,918 yards and 30 touchdowns, capping a prolific high school career and helping boost his ranking among running backs to fourth in the state and 19th in the nation, according to the SuperPrep scouting organization.
