Terminus Longueuil is a Réseau de transport métropolitain bus terminus, part of the Longueuil–Université-de-Sherbrooke Metro complex, in Longueuil, Quebec, Canada, on the south shore of the Saint Lawrence River across from Montreal. Longueuil
Longueuil () is a city in the province of Quebec, Canada. It is the seat of the Montérégie administrative region and the central city of the urban agglomeration of Longueuil. It sits on the south shore of the Saint Lawrence River directly across from Montreal. The population as of the Canada 2016 Census totalled 239,700, making it Montreal's second largest suburb, the fifth most populous city in Quebec and twentieth largest in Canada. Charles Le Moyne founded Longueuil as a ''seigneurie'' in 1657. It would become a parish in 1845, a village in 1848, a town in 1874 and a city in 1920. Between 1961 and 2002, Longueuil's borders grew three times, as it was amalgamated with surrounding municipalities; there was a strong de-amalgamation in 2006 (see 2000–2006 municipal reorganization in Quebec). Terminus De Montarville
The Terminus De Montarville was inaugurated November 20, 2007 by the former Agence métropolitaine de transport (AMT) & the city of Boucherville. The bus terminus was built on the corner of Quebec route 132 and Boulevard De Montarville. It includes a 308 car and 35 bicycle capacity parking and seven waiting areas for buses on two bus platforms. It was built to help transfers between Boucherville's RTL bus lines 61, 80 and 85, and CIT Sorel-Varennes bus lines 700, 720, 721 and 722 on April 7, 2008. These buses link to Longueuil terminus and Radisson station. On June 1, 2017, the AMT was dissolved and replaced by two new governing bodies: the Autorité régionale de transport métropolitain (ARTM) and the Réseau de transport métropolitain (RTM). The RTM took over all former AMT services, including the operation of the station. Beloeil (; ) is city in Quebec, Canada. It is a suburb of Montreal, on the South Shore and is on the Richelieu River, east of Montreal. According to the official Commission de toponymie du Québec, the name is written Belœil with an oe ligature; however, other sources avoid the ligature, including the Ministry of Municipal Affairs and the town's own official website. McMasterville is a municipality in southwestern Quebec, Canada on the Richelieu River in La Vallée-du-Richelieu Regional County Municipality. The population as of the 2016 Canadian Census was 5,695. The de la Vallée du Richelieu sector, is a public transit agency serving eight member municipalities and the Richelieu Valley RCM in Quebec, Canada. Marieville is a city in the Canadian province of Quebec. It is located within the Rouville Regional County Municipality in the Montérégie region about east of Montreal. The population as of the Canada 2011 Census was 10,094. History In 1708, Sieur Claude de Ramezey obtained a parcel of land which was named the Monnoir manor. Population increased starting at around 1740. It became a parish in 1832 and officially an incorporated municipality in 1858 and later an incorporated city in 1905. Carignan is a suburban municipality in southwestern Quebec, Canada, on the Richelieu River in La Vallée-du-Richelieu Regional County Municipality, about from Montreal. The population as of the Canada 2021 Census was 11,740. Carignan was originally the Village Municipality of Chambly. The village of Chambly was established in 1855, less than 10 years after the municipality of Chambly. In 1965 it was renamed Carignan to honour the Carignan-Salières Regiment. Exo Le Richelain Sector
The Exo (public transit) Le Richelain sector is the public transportation system for the municipalities of La Prairie, Candiac and Saint-Philippe, which are suburbs lying southeast of Montreal in Quebec, Canada. Originally the communities around Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu were included but the town now has its own public transit system which serves that area. The sector will merge with the Exo Roussillon sector when the Réseau express métropolitain opens on July 31, 2023. Commuter service to Montreal is the major function of the sector, either directly to Terminus Centre-Ville via a reserved bus lane on the Champlain Bridge or services to Terminus Longueuil with a connection to the metro towards downtown Montreal. In 2018, exo awarded Transdev the contract to run service for the sector.
