Teri McMinn
Teri McMinn (born August 18, 1951) is an American actress and model, known for her role as Pam in ''The Texas Chain Saw Massacre'' (1974). Life and career McMinn was born and raised in Houston, Texas, and grew up with an interest in the arts. After graduating high school, she was on scholarship with The Dallas Theatre Center, in Dallas, Texas. Moving to Austin, Texas for further study, the actress attended the University of Texas and St. Edward's University in Austin, Texas. She was discovered by Tobe Hooper and Kim Henkel, director and producer (respectively) of ''The Texas Chain Saw Massacre'', after seeing an article about her in the local newspaper. After auditioning, Teri was offered the role of "Pam" in their film project. Pam was a teenager traveling with Sally Hardesty and her brother Franklin to visit the grave of the Hardestys' grandfather to investigate reports of vandalism and grave robbing. Gunnar Milton Hansen (March 4, 1947 – November 7, 2015) was an Icelandic-born American actor and author best known for playing the mentally impaired cannibal Leatherface in ''The Texas Chain Saw Massacre'' (1974). Early life Hansen was born in Reykjavík, Iceland, to Icelander Skúli Hansen, a dentist, and Norwegian Sigrid Hansen. He moved to the United States with his mother and brother when he was five years old. He lived in Maine until age eleven, when his family moved to Austin, Texas, where he attended Austin High School and the University of Texas at Austin. He majored in English and mathematics as an undergraduate and then went to graduate school in Scandinavian Studies and English. Career His first job out of high school was as a computer operator before he began theater work during college. He was also a football player during high school and for a while a bar bouncer. Leatherface
Leatherface is a fictional character in ''The Texas Chainsaw Massacre'' film series created by Kim Henkel and Tobe Hooper. He first appears in ''The Texas Chain Saw Massacre'' as a disfigured, cannibalistic and mentally unstable mass murderer who, alongside his family, kidnaps, kills, and cooks unsuspecting travelers who venture near their ranch located in Kingsland, Texas. The character's name comes from his masks of human skin. Leatherface's signature weapon is the chainsaw, though he has also used other tools, such as cleavers and hammers, to kill his victims. The character was largely inspired by real-life murderer Ed Gein, who also wore masks made of human skin.
