Teran Williams
Teran Williams (born 20 November 1984) is an Antiguan footballer who plays for Antigua Barracuda FC in the USL Professional Division. Club career Williams began his professional career in 2004 with Bassa in the Antigua and Barbuda Premier Division, before moving to SAP FC in 2007. He was part of the Bassa team which won the Antigua and Barbuda Premier Division title in 2004–05, and later helped SAP to the Premier Division-Antigua and Barbuda FA Cup double in 2008–09. In 2011, Williams transferred to the new Antigua Barracuda FC team prior to its first season in the USL Professional Division. International career Williams made his debut for Antigua and Barbuda in a November 2004 CONCACAF Gold Cup qualification match against Saint Lucia and has earned nearly 20 caps since. Cuba National Football Team
The Cuba national football team ( es, Selección de fútbol de Cuba) represents Cuba in men's international football and it is controlled by the Football Association of Cuba. Nicknamed Leones del Caribe (''Lions of Caribbean''), the team represents all three FIFA, Caribbean Football Union and Confederation of North, Central American and Caribbean Association Football (CONCACAF). 2010 FIFA World Cup Qualification – CONCACAF Second Round
The second round of qualifying matches for the 2010 FIFA World Cup from the CONCACAF section featured the 13 top-ranked CONCACAF teams in the FIFA World Rankings as of May 2007, along with the 11 winning teams from the First Round. The draw took place on 25 November 2007 in Durban, South Africa. Format In this round 12 of the remaining 24 teams would be eliminated. There were 12 ties and the winners advanced to the next round. All games were scheduled to be played in home and away format. Further organisation were involved in the draw, with the 12 ties grouped into three groups of four – each feeding into a separate Third Round group. Sir Vivian Richards Stadium
Sir Vivian Richards Stadium is a stadium in North Sound, Antigua, Antigua and Barbuda. It was built for use in the 2007 Cricket World Cup where it hosted Super 8 matches. The stadium usually caters for 10,000 people, but temporary seating doubled its capacity for the 2007 World Cup. The stadium is named after former West Indies cricket captain Viv Richards. Location The stadium is about 10–20 minutes' drive from the capital city, St. John's, and the country's international airport. The venue cost approximately US$60 million to build, with the majority of the funds coming from a Chinese Government grant. Antigua Recreation Ground is the national stadium of Antigua and Barbuda. It is located in St. John's, on the island of Antigua. The ground has been used by the West Indies cricket team and Antigua and Barbuda national football team. It had Test cricket status.
