Teodoro Paul Paredes Pavón (born 1 April 1993) is a Paraguayan professional Association football, footballer who plays as a Defender (association football), defender for Unión Comercio. Career Club Paredes started his senior football career in Paraguay with Cerro Porteño, he made his debut for the team on 18 May 2011 in a Paraguayan Primera División draw with Club Guaraní, Guaraní. He made another six appearances in the 2011 Paraguayan Primera División season, 2011 season before making zero in 2012 Paraguayan Primera División season, 2012. Caaguazú () is a Departments of Paraguay, department in Paraguay. The capital is the city of Coronel Oviedo. The 2013 Copa Libertadores de América (officially the 2013 Copa Bridgestone Libertadores for sponsorship reasons) was the 54th edition of the Copa Libertadores de América, South America's premier international club football tournament organized by CONMEBOL. The CONMEBOL Sudamericana, also known as Copa Sudamericana (; ), is an annual international club football competition organized by CONMEBOL, the governing body of football in South America, since 2002. It is the second-most prestigious club competition in South American football. CONCACAF clubs were invited between 2004 and 2008. The Copa Paraguay is a knockout football competition in men's domestic Paraguayan football, starting in 2018 and succeeding the defunct Torneo República. The project for its creation was officially presented in December 2017 and approved by the Paraguayan Football Association's Executive Committee on 20 February 2018. The competition starts in April and ends in November, with the winner of the cup qualifying for the following year's Copa Libertadores ( Copa Sudamericana until the 2022 edition). If the cup winner has already qualified for South American competitions through the league, then the cup runner-up (or the third-placed team) will qualify.
