Tensnake
Marco Niemerski, known professionally as Tensnake (born 1975), is a German DJ and producer from Hamburg best known for his 2010 track " Coma Cat", which appeared on at least 15 compilations that year. "Coma Cat" reached number 85 on the UK Singles Chart, number 11 on the UK Indie Chart and number 17 on the UK Dance Chart. Musical career Tensnake emerged in the mid-2000s with a disco-influenced style and rose to critical acclaim by the end of the decade. He is most widely known for his popular 2010 song " Coma Cat". Born in Hamburg in 1975, Marco grew up listening to disco, soul, boogie, funk and 80s pop. Glow is the debut studio album by German record producer Tensnake. It was released on 3 March 2014 in the United States and 10 March 2014 in the United Kingdom. The album features collaborations with Fiora, Jacques Lu Cont, MNEK and Nile Rodgers among others. Marketing Singles The album's lead single "58 BPM" features vocals by Fiora. It was released in the United States through his label True Romance on 27 August 2013, but served as the B-side to "See Right Through" in Europe. An official video to accompany the song was released. The second single from the album, "See Right Through", was released in the United Kingdom on 16 September. Later, a free download of the track "No Relief" was released on Tensnake's SoundCloud page. "Coma Cat" is a song by German record producer Tensnake. It was released on 25 January 2010 and re-released on 20 September 2010 through Defected Records and Permanent Vacation. The song reached number 85 in the UK Singles Chart, number 17 in the UK Dance Chart and number 11 in the UK Indie Chart. The song is loosely based on Anthony and the Camp Anthony and the Camp is a dance music group led by producer Anthony Malloy. Fiora Cutler (also known as Amy Cutler; born 21 June 1979), better known mononymously as Fiora, is an Australian musician, singer-songwriter, record producer, and composer born in Launceston, Tasmania, and based in Berlin, Germany.
