Seoul Olympic Park Tennis Center is a tennis venue in Seoul, South Korea, located in the Olympic Park. It hosted the tennis events for the 1988 Summer Olympics The 1988 Summer Olympics (), officially known as the Games of the XXIV Olympiad () and commonly known as Seoul 1988 ( ko, 서울 1988, Seoul Cheon gubaek palsip-pal), was an international multi-sport event held from 17 September to 2 October ... and has hosted several South Korea Davis Cup team and South Korea Fed Cup team ties. The center currently hosts the Hansol Korea Open Tennis Championships. The main stadium has a capacity of 10,000 people. Thanakorn Srichaphan
Thanakorn Srichaphan (born 20 May 1968) is a Thai tennis coach and former professional player. He has featured as both a player and captain on the Thailand Davis Cup team. Tennis career The eldest of the Srichaphan brothers, he had a long Davis Cup career for Thailand, debuting in 1985. He was later joined in the team by brother Narathorn and missed out on playing with youngest brother Paradorn by a year, making his last appearance in 1997. His 27 Davis Cup ties for Thailand included wins in 22 singles rubbers. Srichaphan was a regular competitor for Thailand at the Asian Games and Southeast Asian Games. A team bronze medalist at the 1986 Asian Games, he won multiple Southeast Asian Games gold medals in the doubles and team events. Zhong Ni
Zhong Ni (born 20 May 1962) is a Chinese former professional tennis player who competed during the 1980s. Zhong was a member of the China Federation Cup team between 1984 and 1987, appearing in a total of 11 ties. She amassed five wins in singles rubbers and won once in doubles. At the 1986 Asian Games in Seoul, Zhong won a gold medal in the team competition and was a silver medalist for China in the mixed doubles. Yayuk Basuki
Yayuk Basuki (born 30 November 1970) is an Indonesian former professional tennis player who is now a politician. She is the highest-ever ranked tennis player from Indonesia, having reached No. 19 in singles in the WTA rankings in October 1997. She retired from playing singles in 2000, but remained an active doubles player on the circuit until 2013. She sat in the Indonesian House of Representatives between 2014 and 2019. In January 2018, she was elected Chair of the Indonesian Olympian Association (IOA) for a four-year term. She unsuccessfully ran for re-election in 2019. Suzanna Wibowo
Suzanna Wibowo (born 25 November 1963) is a former professional tennis player from Indonesia. She is sometimes known by her maiden name Suzanna Anggarkusuma. She first represented Indonesia in the Fed Cup in 1981. She made her debut as a professional in July 1986, aged 22, in the doubles competition of an ITF tournament in Brindisi, Italy, which she and partner Yayuk Basuki won. She played her last professional tournament in June 2006 in New Delhi at the age of 43. She was part of Indonesia's Fed Cup team in 1981, 1982, 1983, 1984, 1985, 1986, 1987, 1988, 1989, 1990, 1991, 1992, 1993 and 2003. Kim Soo-ok (born 13 August 1961) is a South Korean former tennis player. Kim, who played at Wimbledon as a junior, featured regularly for the South Korea Federation Cup team in the 1980s, winning 19 matches, 11 in singles and eight in doubles. Lee Jeong-soon (born 23 February 1961) is a South Korean former professional tennis player. Biography Lee competed on the professional tour in the 1980s, which included a main draw appearance at the 1984 Santista Textile Open, a Virginia Slim tournament held in Rio de Janeiro. She made it through to the second round, where she was beaten by a 14-year old Gabriela Sabatini. From 1984 to 1986 she featured in 12 ties for the South Korea Federation Cup team.
