Tennessee State Route 436
State Route 436 (SR 436) is a north–south state highway in Carroll County, Tennessee. It serves as a connector between the town of McLemoresville and the city of McKenzie. Route description SR 436 begins just east of McLemoresville at an intersection with US 70A/ SR 77. It winds its way north through farmland for several miles before passing through some wooded areas, where it crosses a bridge over the South Fork of the Obion River. The highway then winds its way northwest through farmland for several more miles before entering McKenzie along Cherrywood Avenue. SR 436 passes through some neighborhoods before coming to an end at an intersection with US 79/ SR 76 just south of downtown. The entire route of SR 436 is a two-lane highway. It is notable primarily as the birthplace, and final resting place, of television star Dixie Carter and her husband, actor Hal Holbrook. McKenzie is a city at the tripoint of Carroll, Henry, and Weakley counties in Tennessee, United States. The population was 5,310 at the 2010 census. It is home to Bethel University and the Tennessee College of Applied Technology at McKenzie. Geography McKenzie is located in northern Carroll County at (36.133189, -88.517189). South Fork Of The Obion River
The Obion River system is the primary surface water drainage system of northwestern Tennessee, United States. Description The Obion has four major forks, the North Fork, Middle Fork, South Fork and Rutherford Fork (which is named after Henry Rutherford an early surveyor of the area). The confluences of these forks are a few miles above the mouth of the Obion's discharge into the Mississippi River. For the greater parts of their lengths, the forks exist as separate streams. In the mid-20th century, the Obion system was largely channelized for agricultural purposes, under the auspices of the ''Obion-Forked Deer Basin Authority'', a Tennessee state agency that coordinated this work with the United States Army Corps of Engineers. State Route 76 (SR 76) is a state highway in Tennessee, traversing the state in a northeast-southwest axis from east of Memphis to north of Nashville. SR 76 is unique in that it actually changes its cardinal directions (from North-South to East-West) in Clarksville at the junction with US 41A and US 41A Bypass. Ewell Bouldin Bridge
Ewell ( , ) is a suburban area with a village centre in the borough of Epsom and Ewell in Surrey, approximately south of central London and northeast of Epsom. In the 2011 Census, the settlement had a population of 34,872, a majority of which (73%) is in the ABC1 social class, except the Ruxley Ward that is C2DE. Ewell was founded as a spring line settlement, where the permeable chalk of the North Downs meets the impermeable London Clay, and the Hogsmill River (a tributary of the River Thames) still rises at a spring close to Bourne Hall in the village centre.
