State Route 271 (SR 271), also known as Belfast Farmington Road, is a short long north-south state highway in Marshall County, Tennessee. It serves as a connection between the communities of Belfast and Farmington. Route description SR 271 begins in Belfast at an intersection with US 431 ( SR 50). It winds its way north to cross a bridge over a creek before passing through mix of rural farmland and hilly wooded terrain for several miles. Marshall County is a county located in the U.S. state of Tennessee. As of the 2020 census, the population was 34,318. Its county seat is Lewisburg. Marshall County comprises the Lewisburg Micropolitan Statistical Area, which is also included in the Nashville-Davidson–Murfreesboro–Franklin, TN Metropolitan Statistical Area. Route description Hickman County SR 50 begins as a 2-lane secondary highway in Hickman County at exit 148 on I-40 near Only as a continuation of Duck River Road. SR 50 travels southeast and crosses a bridge over the Duck River to enter Only and have an intersection with Dyer Road, which follows SR 50's former alignment through the community. State Route 64 (SR 64) is an east–west state highway in Middle Tennessee. The route goes from the Lewisburg area to rural western Cannon County via Shelbyville and Beech Grove. Route description Marshall County SR 64 begins in the Marshall County community of Farmington, at an intersection with US 31A, SR 11, and SR 271. Bedford County It then goes east and crosses into Bedford County, going through Bedford and farmland before intersecting and becoming concurrent with SR 130 and entering Shelbyville.
