Tenchi Muyo! (OVA)
, known as simply ''Tenchi Muyo!'' in North America, is a collection of Japanese OVAs created by Masaki Kajishima and animated by AIC. Initially released in 1992, it marked the beginning of the ''Tenchi Muyo!'' franchise, composed of several manga, OVAs, TV series, and other related media. The first two OVA series were later licensed and distributed in North America by Pioneer Entertainment, with Funimation taking over the rights for the third series, and later taking over the rights for the first two OVAs. In 2020, Crunchyroll acquired worldwide streaming rights (outside Asia) for the fourth and fifth seasons of the OVA. Distribution of the first OVA series began in September 1992, releasing six episodes until 1993. Masaki Kajishima
Masaki Kajishima (梶島 正樹 ''Kajishima Masaki'', born March 16, 1962) is a Japanese animator and storyboard artist who works for AIC in a freelance capacity. He is best known as the creator of ''Tenchi Muyo!'' and ''Dual! Parallel Trouble Adventure''. The main character of ''Tenchi Muyo!'', Tenchi Masaki, was named after Kajishima (although the "Masaki" in Tenchi's name is the character's surname and is written with different kanji). by Yōsuke Kuroda and Masaki Kajishima Kajishima was born in Japan in Okayama Prefecture. Tenchi Muyo!
is a Japanese anime, light novel and manga franchise. The original series began with a six-episode Original video animation, OVA called . This original series was created by Masaki Kajishima and directed by Hiroki Hayashi, and it was released in Japan on September 25, 1992. The series was released by Pioneer LDC in the United Kingdom in 1994. As its popularity grew, it spurred a seventh episode titled ''Tenchi Muyo! Special: The Night Before the Carnival'' (also known as the ''Tenchi Special'') and a stand-alone ''Tenchi Muyo! Ryo-Ohki#Tenchi Muyo! Mihoshi Special, Tenchi Muyo! Mihoshi Special''. A second OVA series was directed by Kenichi Yatagai and was released in 1994. A third OVA series, which was also directed by Yatagai, was released in 2003. Cabbit
A cabbit is a fictional Hybrid (biology), hybrid between a cat and a rabbit. They have appeared in fiction and fantasy stories and have also been dubiously claimed to have been observed in the wild. Most if not all observations are attributable to either misidentified Manx cats or outright hoaxes.
