Templeton Station
Templeton is an at-grade station on the Canada Line of Metro Vancouver's SkyTrain rapid transit system. The station is located in Richmond, British Columbia, south of the city of Vancouver, and is built on the Grauer Lands on the eastern portion of Sea Island. The Vancouver International Airport Authority contributed up to $300 million toward the airport branch of the Canada Line, which includes Templeton. This station, along with Sea Island Centre, was built at-grade to allow for the future construction of an elevated aircraft taxiway over the Canada Line guideway. Edith Templeton
Edith Templeton (7 April 1916, in Prague – 12 June 2006, in Bordighera, Italy) was a Bohemian novelist, who also wrote under the pseudonym Louise Walbrook. Life and career Templeton was born Edith Passerová in Prague in 1916, to wealthy Bohemian parents. She spent the first four years of her life in Vienna, before moving back to what had become Czechoslovakia with her mother, to the home of her grandparents in Jirny. She was educated at the French Lycée in Prague, and left the city in 1938 to marry an English aeronautical engineer named Templeton. The marriage was violent and short-lived, and by 1946 she had settled in Bayswater, London, and was a captain in the British Army. Her short stories began to appear in ''The New Yorker'' in the 1950s, starting in 1957, and were later published as a collection entitled ''The Darts of Cupid'' in 2002. Ed Templeton (born July 28, 1972) is an American professional skateboarder, contemporary artist, and photographer. He is the founder of the skateboard company, Toy Machine, a company that he continues to own and manage. He is based in Huntington Beach, California. Templeton was inducted into the Skateboard Hall of Fame in 2016. Early life Templeton was born in Garden Grove, Orange County, California, USA. Dink Templeton
Robert Lyman "Dink" Templeton (May 27, 1897 – August 7, 1962) was an American track and field athlete, Olympic gold medalist in rugby union, college football player, and track coach. Personal Templeton was born in Helena, Montana, and attended Palo Alto High School in Palo Alto, California. He attended Stanford University, where he played on the American football, football and rugby union teams. He received both his undergraduate and law degrees from Stanford. Olympics In 1920, Templeton was on the United States Olympic team in rugby and the long jump. He was handicapped in his best event, the high jump, because he normally used the Western roll jumping style, which was considered illegal at that time. David Cooper Templeton (born 7 January 1989) is a Scottish professional footballer who currently plays as a winger for Drumchapel United Templeton played for Stenhousemuir, Raith Rovers, Heart of Midlothian, Hamilton Academical, Rangers and Burton Albion. David John Haskins (born 24 April 1957, Northampton, Northamptonshire, England), better known as David J, is a British alternative rock musician, producer, and writer. He is the bassist for the gothic rock band Bauhaus and for Love and Rockets. He has composed the scores for a number of plays and films, and also wrote and directed his own plays, ''Silver for Gold (The Odyssey of Edie Sedgwick)'', in 2008, which was restaged at REDCAT in Los Angeles in 2011, and ''The Chanteuse and The Devil's Muse'' in 2011. Robert "Bert" Templeton (May 11, 1940 – December 5, 2003) was a junior ice hockey coach. He worked primarily in the Ontario Hockey League from 1974 to 2003. Templeton compiled a career coaching record of 907-678-148 with major junior teams in North Bay, Hamilton, St. Catharines, Niagara Falls and Barrie. Templeton has been compared to Hockey Hall of Fame coach Brian Kilrea for his longevity and Roger Neilson for respect in the hockey world.
