George Telfer (born 6 July 1955) is an English retired footballer who played as a forward in the Football League during the 1970s and 1980s, most notably with Everton. After making his senior debut for Everton on 22 December 1973 he went on to play for them on 116 occasions (scoring 22 times). However, he only made 3 appearances for them in his last two seasons, and then played for San Diego Sockers in the North American Soccer League. Ryan Telfer (born 4 March 1994) is a Trinidadian professional footballer who plays as a winger for USL Championship club Miami FC and the Trinidad and Tobago national team. Club career Early career Born in Canada, Telfer was raised in Trinidad, where his parents were from, and began playing with Skhy FC. He later returned to Canada and played youth soccer with Erin Mills Eagles, and was eventually signed in 2012 to their senior team the Mississauga Eagles FC in the Canadian Soccer League. Paul Norman Telfer (born 21 October 1971) is a Scottish football coach and former professional footballer. Telfer made over 300 league appearances in the Premier League for Coventry City and Southampton between 1995 and 2005. He previously played over 150 times for Luton Town. In 2005, he signed for Scottish Premier League side Celtic where he made 57 appearances in two seasons in his native country. He later went on to feature for AFC Bournemouth and Leeds United before finishing his career with non-league side Slough Town in 2009. He was capped once by Scotland in 2000, having previously been capped at U21 and B team level. She entered the Women's College at the University of Sydney, completing a Bachelor of Arts in 1925 and a Diploma of Education in 1926. Telfer served as secretary of the Sydney University Women's Union from 1926, and later was appointed adviser to women students in 1939. Jim Telfer
James Telfer (born 17 March 1940) is a Scottish former rugby union coach and player. As a player, he won 21 international caps in the amateur era, also having a career as a headmaster at Hawick High School and Galashiels Academy and Forrester High School as a chemistry teacher. With Sir Ian McGeechan he had success with both the Scotland national team and the British Lions. Playing career Telfer played for Melrose RFC and was still a student when he was first selected for international duties. He later worked as a chemistry teacher. His first cap came against France at Murrayfield on 4 January 1964. His last match for Scotland was on 28 February 1970 at Lansdowne Road against Ireland.
