Teleios
''Teleios'', also known as ''Beyond the Trek'', is an American science-fiction film written and directed by Ian Truitner. The film stars Sunny Mabrey, Lance Broadway, Michael Nouri, T.J. Hoban, Mykel Shannon Jenkins, Christian Pitre, Ursula Mills and Weetus Cren, and was edited by Gabriella Cristiani. Plot For two years, a deep space mining vessel has been drifting off Saturn’s moon, Titan. The crew may have killed each other but their fate is unknown. In an attempt to investigate, a rescue vessel with a crew of genetically modified advanced humans is sent on the deep space explorer “Teleios” to discover if there are any survivors and to find out what happened. Little do they realise that what they are about to discover may threaten to destroy themselves and the whole of humanity. Ian Truitner
Ian Truitner is an American filmmaker and entrepreneur. Biography Truitner studied at the University of Minnesota and Penn State University. He was awarded Alumni of Notable Achievement by the University of Minnesota in 2017. Truitner is a U.S. Army veteran, serving during Operation Desert Storm. As a filmmaker Truitner's work includes ''Cutting Room (film), Cutting Room'', W.M.D. and Teleios. Teleios earned him the Best Director award at the American Movie Awards. Sunny Mabrey (born November 28, 1975) is an American actress and model. Prior to debuting in films, Mabrey appeared in music videos, such as "Nookie" from Limp Bizkit. Lance Daniel Broadway (born August 20, 1983) is an American actor and former Major League Baseball pitcher. He is 6'3" and throws right-handed. High school and college Broadway was born in Bryan, Texas, and attended Grand Prairie High School, where he was an all-district performer all three of his years on the varsity team. He transferred from Grand Prairie after his junior year and attended Waxahachie High. He played with former high-school All-State player Ben Hudspeth. Broadway then went on to pitch for Dallas Baptist University, and major in communications, where he earned all-conference honors both years he pitched for the Patriots. Mykel Shannon Jenkins (born July 3, 1969) is an American actor, perhaps best known as the winner of the first season of the SOAPnet reality television series ''I Wanna Be a Soap Star''. Career His prize for winning the contest was a 13-week-contract on ''General Hospital'' as Officer Byron Murphy, though he was dropped to recurring after the contract was over. Jenkins exited the soap when his character was shot and killed. His final appearance was on July 22, 2005. Gabriella Cristiani (born 1949) is an Italian film editor with about twenty feature film credits. She has had a notable collaboration with director Bernardo Bertolucci. Early in her career she assisted editor Franco Arcalli on two of Bertolucci's films, ''Last Tango in Paris'' (1972) and ''1900'' (1976). Arcalli was the "supervising editor" on a 1977 film, ''Berlinguer, I Love You'', that was one of Cristiani's first feature editing credits; the film was directed by Giuseppe Bertolucci - Bernardo's brother.
