Teledoce Televisora Color, also known as Canal 12 is a Uruguayan free-to-air television network, located in the capital of Uruguay, Montevideo. It is owned by Grupo Disco. Television transmissions commenced in 1962. History It was the third and last private free-to-air channel that opened in Montevideo. Studios are located on 1276 Enriqueta Compte y Riqué Street, being the only one of the private ones that was always kept in its original place. Its first director was Raúl Galana, but soon Horacio Scheck took his place. The station's antenna was installed for several years on the roof of the newspaper ''El País'', but for several years it has been located in the Congress Tower, in the Tres Cruces district. The first slogan was "The Family Channel". It first shows were ''El Show del Mediodía'', presented by comedians Cacho de la Cruz and Alejandro Trotta, and ''Telecataplúm'', which managed to achieve great success in Argentina. ''La ruleta de la suerte'' is an Uruguayan television game show based on the original American series ''Wheel of Fortune''. Presented by Rafael Villanueva and Roxanne Machin, it is broadcast on Teledoce. The show debuted on August 11, 2020, being, its first episode, the fourth most viewed of the day, reaching 10.9 rating points. It airs on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 9 p.m. In each episode, three participants face different blank word puzzles; they must choose consonants and buy vowels, to solve common sayings and phrases. In this way, they manage to accumulate prizes, to be able to win a 0KM car. ''¿Quién es la máscara?'' (abbreviated as ''La máscara'') is a Uruguayan reality singing competition television series that premiered on Teledoce on May 5, 2022. It is part of the ''Masked Singer'' franchise which began in South Korea and features celebrities singing songs while wearing head-to-toe costumes and face masks concealing their identities. Hosted by Maximiliano de la Cruz, the program employs Emil Abdul, Fabián Delgado, Sofía Rodríguez and Patricia Wolf, who serve as panelists who guess the celebrities' identities by interpreting clues provided to them throughout the season. Telemundo, also known as Telemundo 12 is the news program of the Uruguayan channel, Teledoce. It airs from Monday to Friday at three different times, in addition to a broadcast on Saturdays and Sundays. It has been broadcast since 1962. History From its first broadcast, in 1962 and until 2002, it was presented by the journalist Neber Araujo, who was accompanied by different journalists over time. Victoria Rodríguez Arralde (born December 5, 1972) is an Uruguayan actress, presenter, artist, translator and television figure. She is known for hosting ''Esta Boca es mía,'' a talk show broadcast by Canal 12, since 2008. Biography Rodríguez attended Ivy Thomas Memorial School and then John XXIII Institute. In 1993 she began her activity as a television figure, hosting ''Oxígeno'' and later the program ''Los Viajes del Doce.'' ''Deal or No Deal'' is the name of several closely related television game shows, the first of which (launching the format) was the Dutch ''Miljoenenjacht (Netherlands), Miljoenenjacht'' (''Hunt/Chase for Millions''). The centerpiece of this format is the final round (a.k.a. the "case game" or "main game" ) which is played with up to 26 cases (or, in some versions, boxes), each containing randomly assigned sums of money.
