TeleTrusT
TeleTrusT, officially the IT Security Association (), is a German association for IT security, based in Berlin. Founded in 1989, it is a German and international competence network for IT security, with the purpose of increasing trust in information technology and communication. Members come from related industries and research as well as from administration and consultancy. The association works as a partner of national and international organisations in the field. TeleTrusT is the largest competence network for IT security in Germany and Europe, organising meetings and conferences, and advising in actual IT security politics. The association assigns two signs of confidence, ''IT Security made in Germany'' (ITSMIG) and ''IT Security made in EU'' (ITSMIE). Helmut Reimer
Helmut Reimer is a German computer scientist. He was professor of microelectronics at the Technische Universität Ilmenau from 1971. From 1980 to 1990, he also led the department for microchip production of the VEB Mikroelektronik Erfurt. From 1992 to 2007, he was managing director of TeleTrusT, an association for trustworthy information and communication technologies. Career Reimer studied electronics at the Technische Universität Ilmenau, graduating with a doctorate in 1964. He was professor of microelectronics in Ilmenau from 1971 to 1990. From 1980 to 1990, he also led the department for microchip production of the VEB Mikroelektronik Erfurt. He had intense contacts to production in China. Holger Mühlbauer (; born 1964) is a German jurist and writer, focused on technical standards and information security, working for the German DIN as managing director of a committee, for the Austrian Standards, the European Committee for Standardization (CEN) and the International Standards Organisation (ISO). Norbert Pohlmann (born 20 March 1960) is a computer scientist and a professor at the . He is also chairman of the board of the IT security association TeleTrusT. Career Born in Ratingen, Pohlmann studied electrical engineering from 1981 to 1985, specialising in computer science. He wrote his doctoral thesis on "Possibilities and Limitations of Firewall Systems".
