Telangana State Tourism Development Corporation
The Telangana State Tourism Development Corporation (TSTDC) is a state government agency which promotes tourism in Telangana, India. Aims The aim of TSTDC is to provide infrastructure, conveyance and other facilities to tourists visiting Telangana. Part of their mission is also to promote unknown tourist spots in Telangana. The Chief Minister KCR appointed Pervaram Ramulu IPS Retd, former Director General of police as the first chairman of TSTDC on 18-03-2015. TSTDC owns a considerable size of transport fleet 63 which includes high end Volvo and Mercedes Benz coaches, a/c and non a/c coaches. The fleet will be deployed for conducting regular and on demand packages. TSTDC have a chain of Haritha Hotels which are spread across the state of Telangana at all major tourist destinations with a size of 33 hotels which includes wayside amenities on major national highways. Adilabad District
Adilabad district is a district located in the northern region of Telangana, India. It is known as the gateway district to South and Central India. The town of Adilabad is its headquarters. The district shares boundaries with Asifabad, Nirmal districts and with the state boundary of Maharashtra. As of 2022, the district is a part of the red corridor. Taramati Baradari is a historical Caravanserai, sarai as part of Ibrahim Bagh, a Persian style garden built during the reign of Ibrahim Quli Qutub Shah, the fourth Golkonda, Sultan of Golconda. Golconda Fort
Fort (Telugu: గోల్కొండ, romanized: ''Gōlkōnḍa'') is a historic fortress and ruined city located in Hyderabad, Telangana, India. It was originally called Mankal. The fort was originally built by Kakatiya ruler Pratāparudra in the 11th century out of mud walls. It was ceded to the Bahmani Kings by Deo Rai, Rajah of Warangal during the reign of Sultan Muhammad Shah (1358-1375 A.D.) of the Bahmani Sultanate. Hussain Sagar
Hussain Sagar (alternatively referred to as Tank Bund; ) is a heart-shaped lake in Hyderabad, Telangana, built by Ibrahim Quli Qutb Shah in 1563. It is spread across an area of and is fed by the River Musi. A large monolithic statue of the Gautama Buddha, erected in 1992, stands on Gibraltar Rock in the middle of the lake. It also separates the city centre of Hyderabad from its neighborhood Secunderabad. Kawal Wildlife Sanctuary
Kawal Tiger Reserve is a nature preserve located at Jannaram mandal of Mancherial District (Old Adilabad district) in the Telangana state of India. The government of India declared Kawal Wildlife Sanctuary to be a Tiger Reserve in 2012. The reserve is the oldest sanctuary in the northern Telangana region of the state.
