Moiz Cohen (1883 in Serres, Salonica Vilayet, Ottoman Empire – 1961 in Nice, France) was a Turkish writer, philosopher, and journalist of Jewish heritage. He became an ideologue of different movements at different times: Ottomanism, Pan-Turkism, and Kemalism. Born to a Jewish family, he later changed his name to Munis Tekinalp.Jacob M. Mehmet Tekin Arıburun (October 3, 1903 – October 13, 1993) was a Turkish soldier and statesman. He was born in then-Ottoman territory of Ishtib, Kosovo Vilayet (today Štip, part of the Republic of Macedonia). He was the last (Acting) President to be born outside the territory of present-day Turkey. His father is Hüseyin Avni who was the commander of 57th Regiment in Gallipoli Campaign in 1915 during World War I. Hüseyin Avni Bey died in action in Arıburnu. After Surname Law (Turkey) of 1935, Mustafa Kemal Atatürk requested that he should take Arıburun as his surname to honour his late father. He graduated from the Turkish Military College in 1925. Tekin Bingöl (born 1 August 1955) is a Turkish politician who serves as the Deputy Leader of the Republican People's Party responsible for political organisation since 8 May 2014. He has served as a Member of Parliament for Ankara's second electoral district since 7 June 2015, elected at the June 2015 general election. He previously served as an MP for Ankara's second electoral district between 2007 and 2011. Bülent Tekin (born 15 February 1954), Kurdish poet and writer, Turkish citizen. In the 1970s he wrote two novels (“Son” and “Money”), a collection of “Social Poems”, and a research document on the socialism in Allende's Chile, all four of which were confiscated by the police, thus “lost” and unpublished. Latife Tekin (born 1957) is one of the most influential Turkish female authors. Biography She was born in 1957 in the village of Karacahevenk, in the Bünyan district of Kayseri.
