was a Japanese football player. He played for Japan national team. Club career Matsumaru was born in Bunkyo, Tokyo on February 28, 1909. He played for Keio BRB was consisted of his alma mater Keio University players and graduates. At Keio BRB, he won 1932 and 1936 Emperor's Cup. He also played for Tokyo OB Club and won 1933 Emperor's Cup with Shigemaru Takenokoshi and Shiro Teshima. National team career In May 1934, Matsumaru was selected Japan national team for 1934 Far Eastern Championship Games in Manila. At this competition, on May 13, he debuted against Dutch East Indies. was a lieutenant general in the Imperial Japanese Army, a minister of state, and member of the House of Peers. A close associate of Hideki Tojo, he helped to plan Japan's wartime economy. Military career The eldest son of a landowner in Chiba Prefecture, Suzuki had aspired to participate in the forestry development of Manchuria based on stories told by his uncle, who was a colonel in the Imperial Japanese Army during the Russo-Japanese War. He applied for Tokyo Imperial University's Faculty of Agriculture but passed the examinations for the Imperial Japanese Army Academy and upon the recommendations of his uncle, began a military career instead. was a general in the Imperial Japanese Army during the World War II. Biography Early career Yoshimoto was the eldest son of an indigo merchant from Tokushima Prefecture. He was born in Tokyo, but his birth was registered in Tokushima. He graduated from the 20th class of the Imperial Japanese Army Academy in 1908 and 28th class of the Army Staff College in 1916 and was assigned to staff positions within the Imperial General Headquarters upon graduation. In 1919 he was sent as a military attaché to France, returning in 1922. He remained in various administrative and bureaucratic positions within the Army Staff until 1933, when he was assigned command of the IJA 68th Infantry Regiment. He was promoted to major general in 1936 and assigned command of the IJA 21st Infantry Brigade. Synopsis Setting The story takes place at Seikyou Private Academy: an extremely old school with several buildings, each built at different points in history without care for the existing architecture.
