Lara Teeter (born February 3, 1955) is an American dancer, actor, singer, theater director and college professor. Biography Born in Guthrie, Oklahoma, Teeter earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from Oklahoma City University. He made his Broadway debut in the short-lived 1980 musical '' Happy New Year'', followed by another short-lived musical, the stage adaptation of ''Seven Brides for Seven Brothers'', which ran on Broadway in 1982 for five performances. For his third stage effort, the 1983 revival of ''On Your Toes'' he won critical recognition and a Tony Award nomination for Best Featured Actor in a Musical, as "The Hoofer" and "Junior", originally played by Ray Bolger in 1936. Lawrence Teeter
Lawrence George Teeter (December 12, 1948 – July 31, 2005) was an American lawyer best known for representing Sirhan Sirhan, the man convicted of assassinating Robert F. Kennedy, from 1994–2005. Teeter signed on as Sirhan's lawyer in 1994 and repeatedly tried to get a retrial for his client in order to clear his name. However, he was unsuccessful in doing so right up to his death. Besides Sirhan's case, Teeter also handled other cases, without charging a fee for many of them. In 1982, Teeter unsuccessfully defended Norma Jean Almodovar from a three-year state prison term for Procuring (prostitution), pandering, arguing that the 1982 law specifying the sentence was unconstitutional, an argument that was refused by the California courts of appeal#Second District, California 2nd District Court of Appeal. Mike Teeter
Michael Lee Teeter (born October 4, 1967) is a former American football player. He played college football as a middle guard for the University of Michigan from 1986 to 1989. He played professional football in the National Football League (NFL) as a special teams player for the Houston Oilers in 1993 and 1994. He also played during the spring of 1991 as a defensive lineman for the Frankfurt Galaxy in the World League of American Football and appeared in one game for the Minnesota Vikings in the fall of 1991. Early life Teeter was born in Grand Haven, Michigan, in 1967. He attended Fruitport High School in Fruitport, Michigan. While attending Fruitport High School, he played football at multiple positions and also competed for the track team as a sprinter who could run the 40-yard dash in 4.6 seconds. Robert M. Teeter (February 5, 1939 – May 13, 2004) was an American Republican pollster and political campaign strategist. Biography Born in Coldwater, Michigan, Teeter worked in various capacities for four presidents, and numerous governors and senators. Formerly the president of Market Opinion Research, he later founded an Ann Arbor, Michigan-based consulting firm, Coldwater Corporation. He also conducted a national polling program for NBC News and The Wall Street Journal. He graduated from Albion College in 1961 and also served on its board of trustees. He earned a master's degree from Michigan State University. Teeter Plan
The Teeter Plan (first enacted 1949) provides California counties with an optional alternative method for allocating delinquent property tax revenues. Using the accrual method of accounting under the Teeter Plan, counties allocate property tax revenues based on the total amount of property taxes billed, but not yet collected. The Teeter Plan allows counties to finance property tax receipts for local agencies by borrowing money to advance cash to each taxing jurisdiction in an amount equal to the current year's delinquent property taxes. In exchange, the counties receive the penalties and interest on the delinquent taxes when collected. For counties not under the Teeter Plan, interest and penalty are allocated to all agencies based on their pro rata share of the delinquent property tax.
