Teesdale Business Park
Teesdale Business Park is a major business park on the former site of Head Wrightsons' Teesdale works in Thornaby-on-Tees, North Yorkshire, England. The park was redeveloped by the Teesside Development Corporation. The area is immediately north of Thornaby railway station. The business park is bounded by the Tees Valley Rail-line and the River Tees. It is a short distance from Stockton-on-Tees town centre – connected via the Victoria, Teesquay Millennium, Princess of Wales and Infinity bridges. Thornaby-on-Tees, commonly referred to as Thornaby, is a town and Civil parishes in England, civil parish on the River Tees's southern bank. It is in the Borough of Stockton-on-Tees, North Yorkshire, England. The parish had a population of 24,741 at the United Kingdom Census 2011, 2011 census, in the Teesside built-up area. The town had a municipal charter, royal charter enacted to form a municipal borough in 1892, during the Victorian era, before merging into the County Borough of Teesside in 1968. A borough status in the United Kingdom, borough no longer defines a specific settlement's status as a town in England since the Local Government Act 1972 reforms. Greatest Hits Radio Teesside is a local radio station serving Teesside, as part of Bauer’s Greatest Hits Radio network. History Originally launched as Great North Radio by the Metro Radio Group in March 1989. The station broadcast on the old Radio Tees AM frequency of 1170 kHz Medium Wave. In 1996, Emap bought Metro Radio Group and at the start of 1997, Emap decided to scrap Great North Radio and replaced it with local stations under the brand name of ''Magic'', with a new format of Hot Adult Contemporary music.
