Teenage Thunder
''Teenage Thunder'' is a 1957 American black and white teenage drama film directed by Paul Helmick. The film stars Chuck Courtney (actor), Chuck Courtney, Melinda Byron, Robert Fuller (actor), Robert Fuller, Tyler McVey and Paul Bryar. The opening theme song, ''Teenage Kisses'', is performed by country music singer David Houston (singer), David Houston. Plot summary 18 year old Johnnie Simpson lives with his father and Aunt Martha, after his mother died when he was three. His dad is strict with Johnnie and is constantly criticizing him. Johnnie has a girlfriend, Betty Palmer, who works as a waitress at the local drive-in. Maurie Weston, the town bully, owns a fancy hot rod and teases Johnny about him not being allowed to have a car. One night at the drive in, Maurie makes a move on Betty, but she rebuffs his advances, and ends up letting Johnnie drive her home in her brother's car. Bing Russell
Neil Oliver "Bing" Russell (May 5, 1926 – April 8, 2003) was an American actor and Class A minor-league baseball club owner. He was the father of Hollywood actor Kurt Russell and grandfather of ex–major league baseball player Matt Franco and actor Wyatt Russell. Early life Russell was born in Brattleboro, Vermont, the son of Ruth Stewart (née Vogel) and Warren Oliver Russell. He always wanted to become an actor and studied drama at Brattleboro High School. He grew up around the New York Yankees’ spring training camp in St. Petersburg, Florida, in the 1930s and 1940s, where his father ran a floatplane service. As a result, he was an unofficial mascot of the New York Yankees, and became friendly with players including Lefty Gomez and Joe DiMaggio. Gregory Muradian (April 4, 1939 – October 2, 1989), known by his stage name Gregory Marshall, was an American child and, subsequently, adolescent film and television actor whose career lasted from 1944 to 1958. He never rose above supporting roles, with a number of his film appearances reduced to uncredited bits. A native of Los Angeles County, Gregory Muradian was just past his fifth birthday when the first film in which he appeared, '' Roughly Speaking'', a comedy-drama starring Rosalind Russell and Jack Carson, started production in April 1944, finishing in mid-July. Gilbert Vincent Perkins (24 August 1907 – 28 March 1999) was an Australian film and television actor. Early life As a teenager, Perkins was a trackman and an athlete. He ran away from home at a young age and joined the crew of a Norwegian cargo ship as a deck hand. Early career In his early adult life, he left for Hollywood. Charles David Houston (December 9, 1935 – November 30, 1993) was an American country music singer. His peak in popularity came between the mid-1960s and the early 1970s. His biggest success came in 1966, when his recording of " Almost Persuaded", topped the ''Billboard's'' Hot Country Singles chart for nine weeks, and garnered Houston a pair of Grammy Awards.
