Burning Love (band)
Burning Love was a Canadian hardcore punk band from Toronto formed in 2007 by vocalist Chris Colohan (also of the band Cursed and former members of the sludge band Our Father: David O'Connor (bass), Andrus Meret (guitar), and Easton 'The Business' Lannaman (drums). History Burning Love started as a side project to the members' bands. The band began recording their first EP in 2007, but it was abandoned due to their dissatisfaction with the recording (most of the songs would appear on their 2009 demo). It was not until the sudden breakup of Cursed in 2008 that the band began (in 2008/2009) writing and recording full-time. ''Burning Love'' (2008–2009) Burning Love recorded a 10-minute demo and released it on 8-track tape and free digital download. Ruby The Hatchet
A ruby is a pinkish red to blood-red colored gemstone, a variety of the mineral corundum (aluminium oxide). Ruby is one of the most popular traditional jewelry gems and is very durable. Other varieties of gem-quality corundum are called sapphires. Ruby is one of the traditional cardinal gems, alongside amethyst, sapphire, emerald, and diamond. The word ''ruby'' comes from ''ruber'', Latin for red. The color of a ruby is due to the element chromium. Some gemstones that are popularly or historically called rubies, such as the Black Prince's Ruby in the British Imperial State Crown, are actually spinels. These were once known as "Balas rubies". The quality of a ruby is determined by its color, cut, and clarity, which, along with carat (mass), carat weight, affect its value. The brightest and most valuable shade of red, called blood-red or pigeon blood, commands a large premium over other rubies of similar quality. After color follows clarity: similar to diamonds, a clear stone ...

Night Horse
Night Horse is an American hard rock band based in Los Angeles. Biography Night Horse began in late January 2008. Their early work was under the moniker ''The Mother Fucking Razorbacks'', a name that Lemmy Kilmister of Motörhead coined after meeting them in front of Hollywood's Hustler store. The band had come together to play straight forward rock 'n' roll music. Vocalist Sam Velde was recommended to the group, who were actively seeking a front man. After having disbanded his former band Bluebird and spent the past few years developing his eclectic record label Cold Sweat Records, Sam was eager to rejoin the ranks of the rockers. Soon after the lineup was set the band changed their name. With the idea of music being a thing of the night, and a 'swift kick and a gallop' to the heart brought the name ''Night Horse''. Songs were written, performed live, and recorded, all over the short course of a few months. The band's song "Come Down Halo" is featured in the soundtrack of th ...

Karma To Burn
Karma to Burn, commonly abbreviated as K2B, is a Palm Desert Scene, desert rock/stoner rock band from Morgantown, West Virginia. The band are noted for their uncompromising, mostly instrumental sound. Their name comes from a sleevenote on Bob Dylan's 1976 album ''Desire (Bob Dylan album), Desire'' which reads "I have a brother or two and a whole lot of karma to burn..." History First era (1993–2002) After years of viral self-promotion (such as phoning record companies pretending to be other bands who had heard an interesting band called Karma to Burn), Karma to Burn was signed to Roadrunner Records in 1996. They were planning to release an entirely instrumental album, but Roadrunner insisted that the contract was only valid under the condition that they hired a vocalist. After a brief trial of then Kyuss frontman John Garcia (singer), John Garcia, they hired a friend of theirs, Jason Jarosz. Their first album ''Karma to Burn (Karma to Burn album), Karma to Burn'' was released ...

Joy (American Band)
The word joy refers to the emotion evoked by well-being, success, or good fortune, and is typically associated with feelings of intense, long lasting happiness. Dictionary definitions Dictionary definitions of joy typically include a sense of it being a reaction to an external happening, e.g. a physical sensation experienced, or receiving good news. Distinction vs similar states saw a clear distinction between joy, pleasure, and happiness: "I sometimes wonder whether all pleasures are not substitutes for Joy", and "I call it Joy, which is here a technical term and must be sharply distinguished both from Happiness and Pleasure. Joy (in my sense) has indeed one characteristic, and one only, in common with them; the fact that anyone who has experienced it will want it again... I doubt whether anyone who has tasted it would ever, if both were in his power, exchange it for all the pleasures in the world. But then Joy is never in our power and Pleasure often is."
