Tee Kai Wun
Tee Kai Wun (; born on 17 April 2000) is a Malaysian badminton player. He helped Malaysia win a silver medal in the 2017 BWF World Junior Championships mixed team event. Career 2017–2019 In 2017, he won a silver medal at the 2017 BWF World Junior Championships in mixed team event. In June 2018, Tee entered the final of Mauritius International with Ng Yong Chai and finished as runner-ups. In December 2019, he won his first senior title at the Bangladesh International in the men's doubles event with Chang Yee Jun. 2021 After more than a year not competing due to pandemic, Tee made a return to international badminton at the Polish Open in March. He and partner Man Wei Chong won the title after defeating compatriots Chang Yee Jun and Chia Wei Jie in the final. Badminton World Federation
The Badminton World Federation (BWF) is the international governing body for the sport of badminton recognised by the International Olympic Committee (IOC). It was founded in 1934 as the International Badminton Federation (IBF) with nine member nations (Canada, Denmark, England, France, Ireland, Netherlands, New Zealand, Scotland and Wales). In 1981 the IBF merged with the World Badminton Federation, and on 24 September 2006, at the Extraordinary General Meeting in Madrid, the name of the organization was changed to Badminton World Federation (BWF). Irish Open (badminton)
The Irish International or Irish Open in badminton is an international open held in Ireland since 1902 and is thereby one of the oldest badminton tournaments in the world. It was however interrupted by the two World Wars. This tournament is currently a part of the European Badminton Circuit and takes place at the end of November every year as part of the home nations loop of international tournaments that include the Scottish Open and the Welsh Open in consecutive weeks. The tournament for most part and in recent years has been an International Challenge rated event. The recent exception was in 2012, 2017 & 2018 when the tournament was downgraded to International Series due to funding. Recent editions have been held in the Baldoyle Badminton Centre except for 2007 and 2011 tournaments which were held in Lisburn, Northern Ireland. Loh Kean Hean
Loh Kean Hean (; born 12 March 1995) is a Singaporean badminton player. Career Born in Penang, Loh permanently moved to Singapore in 2009 after receiving a scholarship from the Singapore Badminton Association (SBA). His younger brother followed him soon after. Loh studied at Montfort Secondary School in Hougang while training with the Singapore national badminton team. In 2014, he was the mixed doubles runner-up at the Singapore International Series tournament partnered with Dellis Yuliana, and in 2015, he won the men's doubles title with Terry Hee. Terry Hee
Terry Hee Yong Kai (; born 6 July 1995) is a Singaporean badminton player. In mixed doubles with Jessica Tan, Hee won his first World Tour title at the 2022 India Open. They repeated their success at the 2022 Commonwealth Games. Early life Hee was born in Singapore on 6 July 1995. He enrolled in the Singapore Sports School on a scholarship when he was 13 and began playing badminton professionally for Singapore in 2014, after going through the youth system at the Singapore Sports School (SBA)'s badminton academy. Career 2014–2018: Early senior career Hee won the mixed team bronze medal at the 2014 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow, Scotland. He was also part of the national team that won the men's team bronze medals at the 2015, 2017 and the 2019 Southeast Asian Games. 2020 Thomas & Uber Cup
The 2020 Thomas & Uber Cup (officially known as the TotalEnergies BWF Thomas & Uber Cup Finals 2020 for sponsorship reasons) was the 31st edition of the Thomas Cup and the 28th edition of the Uber Cup, the biennial international badminton championship contested by the men and women's national teams of the member associations of Badminton World Federation (BWF). The tournament were played at Ceres Arena in Aarhus, Denmark. It is the first time that Denmark hosted the Thomas Cup and Uber Cup tournament and the first time this event was held in Europe since England 1982. New Straits Times
The ''New Straits Times'' is an English-language newspaper published in Malaysia. It is Malaysia's oldest newspaper still in print (though not the first), having been founded as ''The Straits Times'' on 15 July 1845.
