Tedric Thompson
Tedric Thompson (born January 20, 1995) is an American football safety who is a free agent. He played college football at the University of Colorado Boulder, and was drafted in the fourth round of the 2017 NFL Draft by the Seattle Seahawks. Professional career Seattle Seahawks The Seattle Seahawks selected Thompson in the fourth round with the 111th overall pick in the 2017 NFL Draft. He was the 12th safety selected in 2017 and was one of three safeties drafted by the Seahawks that year. Thompson was the second safety selected by the Seahawks behind Michigan's Lano Hill, but was selected before Cincinnati's Mike Tyson. Safety is a position in gridiron football on the American football positions#Defense, defense. The safeties are defensive backs who line up ten to fifteen yards from the line of scrimmage. There are two variations of the position: the free safety and the strong safety. Their duties depend on the defensive scheme. The 2017 Washington Redskins season was the franchise's 86th season in the National Football League and the fourth under head coach Jay Gruden. Earl Winty Thomas III (born May 7, 1989) is an American former football free safety who played in the National Football League (NFL). He was drafted by the Seattle Seahawks in the first round of the 2010 NFL Draft. Bradley McDougald (born November 15, 1990) is an American football safety who is a free agent. He played college football at Kansas and was signed by the Kansas City Chiefs as undrafted free agent in 2013. He has also played for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Seattle Seahawks, New York Jets, and Tennessee Titans. College career McDougald originally committed to Ohio State University out of Dublin Scioto High School as a wide receiver, but changed his commitment to the University of Kansas.
