Ted Nicolaou
Ted Nicolaou is an American film director, screenwriter and producer. After graduating from the University of Texas film program, he joined the crew of ''The Texas Chain Saw Massacre'' (1974) as a Sound recording and reproduction, sound recordist. Later, he joined Charles Band's Empire Pictures, where he worked as an film editing, editor on such films as ''Ghoulies'' (1985) and eventually debuted as a director with ''The Dungeonmaster'' (1985) and ''TerrorVision'' (1986). His most famous directorial effort is the ''Subspecies (film series), Subspecies film series''. Apart from his feature film projects, he also works in television. Black List (survey)
The Black List is an annual survey methodology, survey of the "most-liked" motion picture screenplays not yet produced. It has been published every year since 2005 on the second Friday of December by Franklin Leonard, a development executive who subsequently worked at Universal Studios, Universal Pictures and Will Smith's Overbrook Entertainment. The website states that these are not necessarily "the best" screenplays, but rather "the most liked", since it is based on a survey of film studio, studio and production company executives. ''Bad Channels'' is a 1992 American science fiction spoof direct-to-video film, produced by Full Moon Features and released by Paramount Home Video. It is about two aliens (Cosmo and Lump) who invade a radio station with the intention of capturing female humans, by using radio broadcasts.
