Ted James (cricketer)
Albert Edward James (7 August 1924 – 2 April 2013) was an English cricketer who played first-class cricket for Sussex. He was a right-hand batsman and right arm medium pace bowler who in 12 years of county cricket took 843 wickets. He was born in Newton Longville, Buckinghamshire and died at Eastbourne, East Sussex. James began his cricket career with Buckinghamshire, playing four matches in the 1947 Minor Counties Championship. In 1948 he joined Sussex. He made his first-class debut against Yorkshire in May of that year, taking four wickets in his first match including that of England captain Norman Yardley. He was dropped from the first team mid-season, but finished his maiden season with 33 wickets at an average of 25.12.First-class Bowling in Each Season

Ted James (June 1, 1918, Sand Coulee, Montana – May 14, 1995, Great Falls, Montana) was an American politician. He served two terms as the district attorney for Cascade County, Montana before being elected as Lieutenant Governor of Montana, serving from 1965 to 1969. He ran for the governorship in 1968, but was defeated in the primary by Tim Babcock Timothy Milford Babcock (October 27, 1919 – April 7, 2015) was an American politician, the 16th Governor of the state of Montana, from 1962 to 1969. Early life Babcock was born in Littlefork, Minnesota, the son of Olive (Rinehart) and Er ..., who went on to lose re-election. He was appointed chairman of University of Montana board of regents, serving from 1973 to 1982. He has been described as a moderate Republican. Ted James (American Football)
Theodore Lawrence James (August 8, 1906 – June 8, 1999) was an American football player and coach. Playing career In college, James starred for the University of Nebraska–Lincoln Cornhuskers from 1926 to 1928 and was inducted into the Nebraska Football Hall of Fame. After graduating, he played for the Frankford Yellow Jackets in the National Football League (NFL), appearing in 10 games in 1929. Coaching career After playing for one year in the NFL, he became the head football coach at the University of Nebraska at Kearney from 1930 to 1932. He accumulated a record of 13–10–2 and won the Nebraska Intercollegiate Athletic Association The Nebraska Intercollegiate Athletic Association (NIAA) was an intercollegiate athletic conference that existed from 1928 to 1942. The league comprised public state colleges in the state of Nebraska.
