Ted Hotaling
Ted Hotaling (born July 12, 1972) is an American college basketball coach and the current head men's basketball coach at the University of New Haven (2010–present). Born in upstate New York, Hotaling played at SUNY Albany for coach Richard Doc Sauers. Hotaling also played professional basketball in the National Basketball League (England) for the Cardiff Phoenix Basketball Club and the Plymouth Rotolok Raiders. In 2012, Hotaling was inducted into the SUNY Albany Athletics Hall of Fame as an individual player and as a member of the 1993–1994 men's basketball team who earned a berth in the NCAA Division III, Elite Eight. Hotaling was honored as a member of the Class of 2018 Upstate New York Basketball Hall of Fame on May 20, 2018. New Haven Chargers
The New Haven Chargers are the athletic teams that represent the University of New Haven, located in West Haven, Connecticut, in NCAA Division II intercollegiate sports. The Chargers' 18 varsity athletics teams, seven men's and 11 women's, compete as members of the Northeast-10 Conference, with the exception of women's rugby (added for Fall 2021) which competes under USA Rugby. New Haven has been a member of the NE10 since 2008. In 2016-2017, the women's volleyball and baseball team won Northeast-10 Conference championships. Overall 12-of-16 teams qualified for postseason play, while six teams (men's & women's cross country, volleyball, baseball, women's lacrosse and softball) advanced to the NCAA Championships. James Jones (basketball, Born 1964)
James Fitzgerald Jones (born February 20, 1964) is an American men's college basketball coach who is the head coach at Yale University. Born in Long Island, Jones played college basketball at SUNY Albany and worked as a sales executive for NCR Corporation before beginning his coaching career. Jones succeeded Dick Kuchen as the 22nd men's basketball head coach of Yale University on April 27, 1999. On March 17, 2016, Jones and the Bulldogs upset the fifth-seeded Baylor University Bears in the first round of the 2016 NCAA Division I men's basketball tournament.
