Techin Pinchatri
is a Japanese media franchise centered on a series of fighting video and arcade games developed and published by Bandai Namco Entertainment (formerly Namco). The franchise also includes film and print adaptations. The main games in the series follow the events of the King of Iron Fist Tournament, hosted by the Mishima '' Zaibatsu'', where players control a plethora of characters to win the tournament and gain control of the company; the conflict between the Mishima family serves as the main focus of the series' plot, while players explore other characters' motivations in aiming to control the Zaibatsu. Gameplay focuses on hand-to-hand combat with an opponent, with the gameplay system including blocks, throws, escapes, and ground fighting. Seiichi Ishii
Seiichi Ishii (石井 精一 ''Ishii Seiichi'', born 18 August 1967) is a Japanese game designer. He is best known for the development of fighting games. Ishii was born in Ichinomiya, Aichi, Ichinomiya City, Aichi Prefecture, Japan. He was a designer on groundbreaking Sega titles ''Virtua Racing'' and ''Virtua Fighter (video game), Virtua Fighter''. Ishii was also a designer and director for the first ''Tekken (video game), Tekken'' game in 1994 and ''Tekken 2'' in 1995. He established his own company, DreamFactory, DreamFactory Co., Ltd. in November 1995, through Sega, Sega Enterprises Ltd. and Namco, Namco Ltd., expanding his fighting game pedigree to create titles such as ''Tobal No. 1'', ''Ehrgeiz'', and ''The Bouncer (video game), The Bouncer''.
