Team VVCS
Team VVCS is the football team of the '' Vereniging van Contractspelers'' (Association of contract Players) (VVCS) for professional footballers in the Netherlands without a contract. It was set up in 2004. History During the preparation to the new football season Team VVCS organises a few practice matches with football clubs. In this way the players try to earn a contract at another club. In 2018, eight of the 16 players received contracts. Association Of Contract Players
The Association of Contract Players ( nl, Vereniging van Contractspelers — VVCS) is the trade union for professional football players in the Netherlands. Established on 1 January 1961, it is a member of the Dutch Federation of Trade Unions and one of the three founding members of FIFPro, whom they share offices with. Initiatives set up by the association include the VVCS Academy, which help players earn a diploma during their football careers, and Team VVCS, a team consisting of out-of-contract players looking for a new club. Jamal Dibi (born 5 December 1979 in Vlissingen, Netherlands) is a Dutch former footballer who played as a forward. Career In 2003, Dibi signed for AZ AlkmaarAZ. Cerezo Fung a Wing (born 24 September 1983 in Paramaribo, Suriname) is a Dutch football defender who last played for Dutch Eerste Klasse outfit Ajax Zaterdag. His ancestors came from China and moved to Suriname. "Fung A Wing" is his ancestor's full name and in fact, in accordance with the habits of the Chinese people, his real last name is Fung(馮). Robin Faber (born 2 July 1986) is a Dutch former professional footballer who played as a central defender. Career Born in Doetinchem, Faber played youth football with De Graafschap and PSV. He spent the 2007–08 season with Vitesse, but failed to make a first-team appearance. Dion Esajas (born 7 November 1980 in Amsterdam, Netherlands) is a professional football forward who plays for Dutch amateur side EDO. Barry Ditewig
Barry Ditewig (; born 14 October 1977) is a Dutch former professional footballer who played as a goalkeeper. Club career Ditewig started his career at SC Heerenveen, and later played two seasons for FC Emmen. After the two seasons in Drenthe and a short spell at amateur club SC Joure, he went to play five successful seasons for BV Veendam where he was the first goalkeeper.
