Gjert Ingebrigtsen
Gjert Arne Ingebrigtsen (born 1966) is a Norwegian sports coach. He was awarded the title ''Norwegian Sports Coach of the Year'' for 2018. Career Ingebrigtsen was born in Båtsfjord and resides in Sandnes. He is married to Tone Eva Tønnessen; the couple has seven children, including middle-distance runners Henrik, Filip and Jakob. Ingebrigtsen coached three sons until 2022; those sons all had significant achievements in 2018. At the 2018 European Athletics Championships, Jakob won gold medals in both 1500 m and 5000 m, while Henrik won a silver medal in 5,000 m and placed fourth in 1500 m. Filip won gold medal at the 2018 European Cross Country Championships. Ingebrigtsen was awarded the title ''Norwegian Sports Coach of the Year'' for 2018, awarded at Idrettsgallaen in January 2019. Henrik Ingebrigtsen
Henrik Ingebrigtsen (born 24 February 1991) is a Norwegian middle-distance runner who competes mainly in the 1500 metres. He represented Norway at the 2012 and 2016 Summer Olympics. His younger brothers, Filip Ingebrigtsen and Jakob Ingebrigtsen, are also middle-distance runners, the latter of which won the 1500m gold at the 2020 games. Athletic career Ingebrigtsen first broke the 3:40 barrier in the 1500 meters at the age of 19. He won the gold medal at the 2012 European Athletics Championships in Helsinki at the 1500 metres event. He followed it by finishing 5th at the Olympic Games in London with a new national record of 3:35.43. Filip Ingebrigtsen
Filip Mangen Ingebrigtsen (born 20 April 1993) is a Norwegian middle distance runner who represents Sandnes Idrettslag. In 2016, Ingebrigtsen became European Champion at 1500 meters during the European Championships in Amsterdam, and took bronze over the same distance at the World Championships in 2017 in London. He previously held the Norwegian 1500m record with the time 3:30.01, set at a Diamond League meet in Monaco on 20 July 2018. At the 2019 London Diamond League Ingebrigtsen finished second to Samuel Tefera in the mile. With a time of 3:49.60 Ingebrigtsen ran a national record and new personal best. Ingebrigtsen was born in Sandnes. His older brother Henrik Ingebrigtsen and younger brother Jakob Ingebrigtsen (born 2000) are also middle distance runners and European champions at 1500 meters. Jakob Ingebrigtsen
Jakob Ingebrigtsen (born 19 September 2000) is a Norwegian middle- and long-distance runner. He won the gold medal in the 1500 metres at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, setting an Olympic and European record. At the 2022 World Athletics Championships, Ingebrigtsen took silver in the event and a gold for the 5000 metres. He is a four-time European champion, winning the 1500 m/5000 m double in 2018 and 2022. His 1500 m victory in 2018 achieved at the age of 17 made him the second youngest ever individual senior European track and field champion, while his double was the first in history.
