Rapping
Rapping (also rhyming, spitting, emceeing or MCing) is a musical form of vocal delivery that incorporates "rhyme, rhythmic speech, and street vernacular". La Fouine
Laouni Mouhid ( ar, العوني محيد , ; born 25 December 1981), commonly known by his stage name La Fouine (, ; ), with additional aliases such as Fouiny Babe or just Fouiny (), is a French rapper and singer of Moroccan descent. He is owner of Banlieue Sale and clothing line "Street Swagg". Personal life Born in Trappes in a family of seven children to Moroccan parents from Casablanca, Laouni grew outside Paris in the Yvelines. His mother was so poor, they had to frequent the Restaurants du Cœur charity eateries. He is the penultimate of his six brothers and sisters, Hakim (aka the rapper Canardo), Kamel, Illham, Samira, Naima and Adil. La Fouine talked about this in "Je regarde là-haut". Fababy
Fabrice Ayékoué (born 24 January 1988 in Paris), better known by his stage name Fababy, is a French rapper, singer and songwriter of Ivorian origin. Career In 2009, Fababy met rapper Despo Rutti, and appeared with him on a freestyle video called "La Saint-Valentin Featuring La Batte de Base Ball", posted on 14 February 2010, where he assumed the moniker F.A.B. The video was viewed over 30,000 times. He then appeared with Rutti on the radio station Planète Rap, to help promote Rutti's album, ''Conviction Suicidaire''. Under the moniker Fababy, he recorded the track "Dans Nos Yeux" (In Our Eyes) on the compilation rap album ''Cosa Nostra'' by Juston Records, which was released on 1 March 2010. When the ''Cosa Nostra'' album was being promoted, he got to perform the track at the Nouveau Casino in Paris. Sultan (rapper)
Soultouane Benjadid ( ar, سلطان بن جديد, link=no; born 24 April 1987), better known as Sultan (earlier Sultan du Holster), is a French hip hop artist and rapper originating from the Comoros. Prior to becoming a solo artist, he was part of the hip hop duo Holster with Ibrahim (I.B.R.). Career Soultouane Benjadid was born in Fontenay-aux-Roses, (Hauts-de-Seine), France and resided in quartier Tertres-Cuverons in Bagneux, Hauts-de-Seine, where he started rapping at a very young age. ''Popstars'' is a French musical reality TV series based on the international series of the same name. The French television series was broadcast on M6 for 4 seasons and was a pioneer in musical competitions in France. It is currently broadcast on D8. The first season of French ''Popstars'' was launched on 20 September 2001 and continued until 20 December 2001 won by L5, followed by a second season 2002 won by Whatfor, a third season in 2004 (known as Popstars - le duel) won by Linkup, and a fourth season after 4 years of interruption, held in 2007 and won by Sheryfa Luna. The first season was to launch pop groups from casting to the launch of a debut album, whereas series 4 was for launching of a solo artist. Pascal Boniani Koeu better known by his stage name Skalpovich, is a French record producer, composer, songwriter and record executive. Between 2001 and 2006, he was part of duo Kore & Skalp with DJ and producer Kore before continuing solo.
