Taçi Oil Cup
The Taçi Oil Cup (Albanian: Trofeu Taçi Oil) was an annual friendly football competition held in Albania. The competition took place in Tiranë between 2008 and 2010. The tournament was organized by Albanian businessman Rezart Taçi in cooperation with UNICEF from 2008 to 2010. Editions 2008 In the inaugural match, Tirana faced then-FIFA Club World Cup winners Milan. Tirana won the match thanks to the screamers of Xhafaj and Muzaka, while the consolation goal for Milan came from Ronaldinho in the last moments of the match. The profits from the tickets went for charity. 2009 In the second edition, Albania national team faced Milan. The ''Rossoneri'' took a double-advantage thanks to the goals of Ronaldinho and Shevchenko, but Albania fired back by overturning the results with the strikers of Vila, Muzaka and Salihi in a period of 12 minutes. Hamdi Abdullah Salihi (born 19 January 1984) is an Albanian retired professional footballer who played as a forward. He is the assistant manager of Albania. Nicknamed 'The Bomber' by his former international coach Otto Barić who would compare him to Gerd Müller, Salihi is known for being a prolific goalscorer both in Albania and Austria, the two countries where he has spent the majority of his career. Panajot Pano
Panajot Thoma Pano ( el, Παναγιώτης Θωμάς Πάνου, Panayiotis Thomas Panou; 7 March 1939 – 19 January 2010) was an Albanian football player. He started his career as a goalkeeper in the 17 Nëntori Tirana youth academy, but later became the most prolific centre-forward of their arch-rivals, Partizani Tirana. KF Gramozi is an Albanian football club based in Ersekë in the Kolonjë District. History The club was founded in 1927 and competed in the lower divisions of Albanian football for much of its history. The club were crowned winners of the Albanian Second Division for the 2007–08 season, which led to their promotion to the Albanian First Division, the second tier. They were promoted to the Albanian Superliga for the first time at the end of the 2008–09 season, after beating Bylis Ballsh 5–2 in the playoff. Endri Vrapi (born 23 May 1982, in Tiranë) is an Albanian retired footballer who last played as a defender for Kosovan club Liria. Club career Early career Vrapi began his career while still a teenager, playing for Partizani Tirana. Regarded as one of the best young Albanian talents at the time, he was also captain of the Albania under-19 team. He worked his way up through the ranks at Partizani Tirana and joined the first team during the 2001–02 season, though he did not feature in any league game that season.
