The football (soccer) Campeonato Brasileiro Série B 1992, the second level of Brazilian National League, was played from February 9 to July 11, 1992. The competition had 32 clubs and twelve of them were promoted to Série A. The competition was won by Paraná. The Supercopa do Brasil ( en, Brazil Super Cup) is a Brazilian association football trophy organized by the Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF). It is contested between the champions of the Campeonato Brasileiro and the winners of the Copa do Brasil. If the same club wins Campeonato Brasileiro and Copa do Brasil, their opponent will be the Campeonato Brasileiro runner-up. The Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF) announced in 2013 a new edition of the competition was expected to be played in 2015. The revival would only take place in 2020. Marcelo Pereira Surcin (born 1 February 1971), known as Marcelinho Carioca, is a Brazilian former professional footballer who played as an attacking midfielder. He was noted for his accuracy from free-kicks, having scored 80 free kick goals in official matches during his career, the most by any player, earning him the nickname "Pé-de-Anjo" (Angel Foot).
