Tayron Guerrero
Tayron Luis Guerrero (born January 9, 1991) is a Colombian professional baseball pitcher in the Cincinnati Reds organization. He has played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the San Diego Padres and the Miami Marlins. Career San Diego Padres The Padres signed Guerrero as an amateur free agent in 2009. In 2014, Guerrero started the season with the Fort Wayne TinCaps of the Class A Midwest League before receiving a promotion to the Lake Elsinore Storm of the Class A-Advanced California League. Guerrero played in the 2014 All-Star Futures Game for the World Team, recording a strikeout of Peter O'Brien. In baseball, the pitcher is the player who throws ("pitches") the baseball from the pitcher's mound toward the catcher to begin each play, with the goal of retiring a batter, who attempts to either make contact with the pitched ball or draw a walk. Midwest League
The Midwest League is a Minor League Baseball league established in 1947 and based in the Midwestern United States. A Class A league for most of its history, the league was promoted to High-A as part of Major League Baseball's 2021 reorganization of the minor leagues. The Midwest League began as the Illinois State League (1947–1948) and then became the Mississippi–Ohio Valley League (1949–1955). Luis Miguel Castillo (born December 12, 1992) is a Dominican professional baseball pitcher for the Seattle Mariners of Major League Baseball (MLB). He made his MLB debut in 2017 with the Cincinnati Reds. Castillo is a two-time All-Star. Carter Lewis Capps (born August 7, 1990) is an American former professional baseball pitcher, and current pitching coach for the Seattle Redhawks. Capps played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the San Diego Padres, Seattle Mariners, and Miami Marlins from 2012 to 2017. The Arizona Fall League (AFL) is an off-season sports league owned and operated by Major League Baseball (MLB) which operates during the autumn in Arizona, United States, at six different baseball complexes. Arizona Fall League rosters are filled by many of the top prospects in Minor League Baseball (MiLB) who are assigned by their parent clubs. The All-Star Futures Game is an annual baseball exhibition game hosted by Major League Baseball (MLB) in conjunction with the mid-summer MLB All-Star Game.
