Tauqir Zia
Tauqir Zia is a Pakistani former military officer and administrator who was the Chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) between 1999 and 2003. In December 2003, he resigned from the chairmanship of the Pakistan Cricket Board. Military career Lieutenant general Tauqir Zia served as Director General Military Operations during the Kargil War in 1999 with India. The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is a sports governing body for cricket in Pakistan responsible for controlling and organising all tours and matches undertaken by the Pakistan national cricket team. A member of the International Cricket Council since 1952, it represents the country's men's and women's national teams in international cricket tournaments played under the ICC. Lieutenant general (Lt Gen, LTG and similar) is a three-star military rank (NATO code OF-8) used in many countries. The rank traces its origins to the Middle Ages, where the title of lieutenant general was held by the second-in-command on the battlefield, who was normally subordinate to a captain general. Corps Commander, or "Corps Commander: Operational Manoeuvre Group" is a set of micro-armour Miniature wargaming rules designed by Bruce Rea Taylor and Andy Ashton and published in the UK by Tabletop games copyrighted by B.
