Daiyū Tatsumi
Daiyū Tatsumi (born 27 May 1940 as Tatsumi Yanagida) is a former sumo wrestler from Ōnejime, Kagoshima, Japan. He made his professional debut in May 1956 and reached the top division in May 1963. His highest rank was ''maegashira'' 1. Upon retirement from active competition he became an elder in the Japan Sumo Association under the name Kabutoyama, coaching at Izutsu stable. In 1989 he branched out from Izutsu and started up Kabutoyama stable, which he ran until it folded in December 2002. He became a coach at Minato stable, and worked there until he reached the Sumo Association's mandatory retirement age of 65. Tatsumi Yoda
is a Japanese businessman. Profile Born May 27, 1940 in Chikuma, Nagano-ken, Tatsumi (nicknamed Tom) finished high school at Nagano HS in 1959 and Business Administration at Meiji University in 1963. In 1969, he became Sansui Electric's director until 1988, the year he founded TY Limited (then Thomas Yoda Limited). Still in 1988, Yoda, with Max Matsuura and Kazunari "Ken" Suzuki, founded Avex Group, one of Japan's biggest names in music and entertainment. In 1999, he joined Gaga Communications as a director. Due to a feud with Matsuura over unknown circumstances, Yoda resigned as Avex's chairman in 2004, but reappointed as honorary chairman until 2005. As of now, he has his own entertainment company called TY Entertainment. ''Tatsumi'' is a 2011 Japanese-language Singaporean animated drama film directed by Eric Khoo. It is based on the manga memoir ''A Drifting Life'' and five earlier short stories by the Japanese manga artist Yoshihiro Tatsumi. The film is a Singaporean production with Japanese dialogue, and was animated in Indonesia. The film premiered in the Un Certain Regard section at the 2011 Cannes Film Festival on 17 May 2011. It later made its box office debut in the Singapore box office on 15 September 2011. is a swimming venue in Kōtō, Tokyo, Japan. The swimming centre has hosted several Japanese swimming championships. History The swimming complex was designed by the Environment Design Institute, a Tokyo architecture firm.
