Tatsuko Hoshino
was a Japanese ''haiku'' poet active in Shōwa period Japan. Early life Hoshino was born in Kōjimachi, Tokyo, as the daughter of the poet and novelist Takahama Kyoshi. She attended the preparatory school for Tokyo Woman's Christian University. After her marriage to the grandson of Hoshino Tenchi, she was encouraged by her father to start writing ''haiku'' and soon showed an amazing talent. Literary career In 1930 Hoshino founded a ''haiku'' magazine exclusively for women called ''Tamamo''. Two years later, she joined the '' Hototogisu'' literary circle and shared the position of leading female ''haiku'' poet with Nakamura Teijo. The two were later joined by Hashimoto Takako and Mitsuhashi Takajo. In 1937 Hoshino published her first ''haiku'' anthology, which was followed by other volumes including ''Kamakura'', ''Sasame'' and ''Jitsui''. Kyōgoku Tatsuko
(? – October 22, 1634) was a Japanese woman who lived from the Sengoku period to the early Edo period. She was the younger sister of Kyōgoku Takatsugu. She was first the wife of Wakasa ''daimyō'' Takeda Motoaki, but after his death she became Toyotomi Hideyoshi's concubine. Her cousin, Chacha, was also a concubine and both of them were best friends. Hideyoshi granted her the name . After Hideyoshi's death she became a nun under the name . Tatsuko Ohsako ( ja, 大迫たつ子, born 8 January 1952) is a Japanese professional golfer who played on the LPGA of Japan Tour (JLPGA) and the LPGA Tour. Ohsako won 45 times on the LPGA of Japan Tour between 1975 and 1991. She was the leading money winner on the LPGA of Japan Tour three times (1977, 1980, 1987). One of Ohsako's JLPGA wins was co-sanctioned with the LPGA Tour, the 1980 Mazda Japan Classic. Ohsako finished fifth at the LPGA Tour's qualifying school tournament in January 1978 and played sparingly on the LPGA Tour from 1978 to 1984.
