''Tatlı Küçük Yalancılar'' (''Sweet Little Liars'') is a Turkish psychological thriller drama series produced by O3 Media and aired for the first time on July 6, 2015 on Star TV. Based on the popular American series ''Pretty Little Liars'', it stars Burak Deniz, Şükrü Özyıldız, Bensu Soral, Büşra Develi, Melisa Şenolsun, Dilan Çiçek Deniz, and Beste Kökdemir. Plot The plot follows the lives of four friends, Aslı, Selin, Ebru and Hande after the disappearance of Açelya, the fifth friend of the group. A year later they begin to receive anonymous messages from someone calling himself "A". The messages threaten to reveal all their secrets, even some that only Açelya knew. Star TV is a Turkish nationwide TV channel. It has been owned by Ferit Şahenk's Doğuş Media Group since 2011. History Founded by Cem Uzan and Ahmet Özal in 1989 as Magic Box, Star TV is Turkey's first private TV channel. The channel started its test broadcasting on 5 May 1990. For a brief time in the early 1990s, it was called Star Magic Box because the name Star 1 was copyrighted by another media corporation. Its first logo was a blue S with a star on it before it turned to red in the early 2000s. Star TV aired many world-known series for the first time in Turkey. Beste Kökdemir (born 29 August 1993) is a Turkish actress. Early life Beste Kökdemir was born on 29 August 1993 in Sinop, Turkey. She completed her primary and secondary education in Sinop. She was later enrolled in Haliç University Fashion Design Department. Kökdemir is known for her love of tattoos. At the age of 12, she had a tattoo written "Bring me Back to Life" on her left arm. In addition she has another tattoo written "One Day" on her right wrist.
