Tatjana Burmazovic (Serbian Cyrillic language, Serbian Cyrillic: Татјана Бурмазовић; February 6, 1984) is a Serbian volleyball player, playing on a position of Libero (volleyball), libero, born in Sremska Mitrovica, Serbia. She was voted best cadet in Yugoslavia in 2000, best Libero (volleyball), libero in Yugoslavia in 2002 and best Beach volleyball, beach volley player in 2006. Her career includes playing both as a volleyball and a beach volleyball player. She was a member of Serbian junior national team for 3 years, and a member of Serbian beach volleyball national team for 8 years. In 2002 - 2003 with volleyball team SREM, she participated in CEV Challenge Cup, CEV CUP. In 2003 - 2004 with OK Crvena Zvezda, she participated in CEV Women's Champions League, Indesit European Champions League. Beach Volleyball
Beach volleyball is a team sport played by two teams of two or more players on a sand court divided by a net. Similar to indoor volleyball, the objective of the game is to send the ball over the net and to ground it on the opponent's side of the court. Each team also works in unison to prevent the opposing team from grounding the ball on their side of the court. Teams are allowed up to three touches to return the ball across the net, and individual players may not touch the ball twice consecutively except after a touch off an attempted block. Volleyball is a team sport in which two teams of six players are separated by a net. Each team tries to score points by grounding a ball on the other team's court under organized rules. It has been a part of the official program of the Summer Olympic Games since Tokyo 1964. Beach volleyball was introduced to the programme at the Atlanta 1996.
